F1 2020

This was not at all that difficult, even if you don't usually drive in Manual, or even if you are new to F1, like i am.

The way i did this was just at my favorite track, Britain Short, as Max Verstappen, by toggling to "Solo" from the home screen with , then selecting "Grand Prix".

Choose F1 2020 (or any other series) --> Favorite Team --> Favorite Driver.

You can then select your track. The next page will allow you to select your distance, and assists. I personally did 3 laps with AI on 0.

Toggle to "Assists", and change your Gesrbox to "Manual". You can also select "Maunal with Suggestion Gears", which just tells you which gear to be in around the corners and the straights.

Either Manual Modes will unlock this achievement. I did manual with gears to be able to give this guide as much information as i possibly could, so i know this also works.

I did NOT do a Qualifying, and i started in 4th. With AI's set to 0, it was fairly simple to move past.

is upgear, and is downgear. Don't forget you need to be in R to be able to reverse: to R, to reverse, to move forward.

You can also just go around in 4th or 5th if you absolutely need to.

Once you finish in 1st, the treasure unlocks

If you are struggling to win a race while driving manual, you can actually earn this one with little to no effort by creating a league and letting the AI drive for you.

Steps:

1. From the main menu, press RB twice to scroll to the multiplayer tab and select "Leagues" and then select "Create League"

2. Select anything you want for the league name, location, pattern and colors and then advance to the next page. On the league schedules page, make sure the start time is set for a time a few minutes after your current time, which will schedule the race for a couple minutes after the league is created

3. On the track select page, you can select any track you want. I used Britain Short. Press down on the d-pad 5 or 6 times to add more tracks to the schedule until there are at least 5 rounds displayed, then press A to advance

4. Make the following selections on the format tab:

League privacy: public
Maximum competitors: 2 competitors/20 spectators

5. Press RB to go to the weekend structure and AI difficulty tab and make the following selections:

Race starts: assisted
Race distance: 5 laps
AI driver level: 1
AI substitute level: 1

6. Press RB to go to the race settings tab and make the following selections:

Collisions: no
Vehicle damage: off
Rules and flags: no

7. Press RB to go to the assist restrictions tab and make the following selections:

Gearbox: manual

8. Press X to create league and select okay

9. Scroll over to the next league event and then press A to ready up on the next screen

10. Once the season starts, you will enter qualifying. Press X to go to track. Before you take control of the car, press start. The game will pause but the AI will automatically drive your car. Let the AI drive the car through the entire lap until the qualifying is over. You should qualify 1st every single time. Once the qualifying results appear, press A to advance to the actual race event.

11. Press A to start race and immediately press A as soon as you're in the car. Once again, the AI will take control of your vehicle and run the race for you and ultimately come in 1st place

The achievement will pop shortly after the race ends
