This can be fun and simple, as you don't even need to have started a My Team mode or Driver Career.

From the Home screen, toggle with

to "Customisation", and then select "Car Liveries". Create New, or select one you have already started and press

to edit.

Then follow and click on:

--> "Sponser Decals"
--> "Sponser Slot"
--> Select a Sponser for each of the 5 slots

You can change the color of the sponser logo, but cannot adjust the size or placement.

Save and Return with

and treasure shall be yours

Of course, you can unlock this with natural progress in your My Team mode. Over time, you will gain access to additional sponsors, and then add them to your car livery when they come in "Customisation" within your My Team mode, or from the Home Page.

um i did this and nothing happened. they also now have 11 spots for sponsors?

yup you have to do 11 Slots now

Can confirm that it has to be 11 slots, not 5. Once I added the decal for the 11th slot, my achievement unlocked.
