When in My Team / Career mode, go to your 'character' tab then go to the first option being 'profile'
Simply change your avatar and hit confirm character and the achievement is yours! Simple as that!
You can always change it right back after to your original character once you've unlocked this.

this can also be done at anytime, you don't need a minimum amount of races, or even have started your career :)
