How to unlock the The Incident achievement in F1 2021 - Definitive Guide

This chapter is a mid-race start in Mexico, and as the achievement title suggests, it may or may not end in fun.

I wouldn't skip the cinematics for this, it's great for the story :)

The achievement pops when you advance to the next stage.

NOTE: a few players have said this achievement was/is bugged for them. Sometimes it comes through after the next chapter, or after an actual game restart.

Sometimes achievements can be buggy if your internet connection isn't due to traffic or weather, so they could even pop up the next day.

Update idk if it's because I had multiple saves or because I was switching between the game and apps but once I closed the game and started it back up it unlocked

glad to hear it unlocked :) i didnt do multiple saves, but did switch between the game and crunchyroll multiple times during the story mode, so maybe the saves did throw it off a bit? who knows, the most important this is it unlocked :)

Bugged for me too - I've played straight through it without switching games or apps and am now in chapter 7. I have other achievements that seem buggy as well in My Team Career.

I would highly recommend skipping the cinematic in this and all parts of this “career”

''The Incident'' refers to the crash between Akkerman and Jackson at the end of Chapter 6. You will have to complete all 6 Chapters to gain this achievement.

For me, it didn't pop until the next time I started F1 2021, so if it doesn't pop try restarting the game!
