For this achivement simply start up a single player career, I went with all the default options to just get into an f1 race as soon as I could. (I have my session length on SHORT, practice format on FULL and qualifying format on ONE-SHOT). When it comes to the race itself make sure you do the practices insted of skipping them - that means click 'go to track' instead of 'go to quick practice'. Now complete your first timed lap (should be second time you cross the finish line) and simply retire from the session. You will then see in the next screen what position you were with your time. If you are not first then just hit restart and try again. Do this for each of the 3 practices and you'll essentially do the same for the qualifying, if you get pole position then continue to the actual race, if not then restart and try again until you get pole position. Upon finishing the final race in 1st place you will unlock your achievement!!
