i decided to do this on a My Team (Solo -> Single Player -> My Team) career that wasn't going to be my main one.
at the very start of the season, before you start to skip time with activities,
to Facilities and select any you wish - i personally chose Marketing, then 
to shutdown the facility.
to go back to the main My Team page and advance time - this is about 14-15 days.
back to Facilities and on the same facility you shut down to restart it again.
a couple of microseconds later, you will be 15 Gamerscore richer
