How to unlock the Weekly Warrior achievement in F1 22 - Definitive Guide

Simply navigate to the MULTIPLAYER tab and click WEEKLY EVENT. First thing it prompted me to do was complete a Practice session, I advanced until I had control of the car and then paused the game. Retired from session and achievement popped!

EDIT: 25/7/23 - This seems to be unobtainable currently as there is no event.
EDIT: 14/11/23 - There is currently an event online right now, thus this achievement is obtainable again.
EDITL 30/12/23 - Seems that new events keep popping in and out, i'll try to update this as much as possibly but sadly I don't have the game anymore and won't be able to check myself.

Is it really that hard to make a reoccurring weekly event. So dumb!

Completed every F1 game from F1 2010 to f1 2021 (including f1 Race Stars), guess this stops it in its tracks now all because they can't be bothered to make a reoccurring event which is a simple and most obvious thing to do for achievements like this - Or just on't add them as achievements.

I really wish EA didn't take over the devs of Codemasters. Knew they'd ruin it. Before EA took over, all codemasters online servers were up for F1 games meaning no discontinued, even the very old F1 game. Then EA come along and take them all down and cause issues.

Why make achievements like this ,if they don’t bother updating it . Can not get the achievement anymore

Might be a silly question, but is there no way to have conditions for the achievement modified to unlock via other means rather than just leaving out content from a rather new-ish game? Like, to change it to filling ones trophy case or a career related unlock? Just seems sad that a game from the year before is already broken and this is an AAA developer.

Always best to work on the online achievements as soon as possible when starting games soon after they get released. Particularly EA games.

Can anyone confirm if it is now unlockable again?
As far as I know, I'm not aware that xbox one achievements are hackable? Unlike the xbox 360 achievements are!

Checked to see if magically EA decided to do something good for once, but nope, definitely still unobtainable. Probably just a cheater unlocking random achievements. Surprised ther're registered on here, thats gotta be a sure fire ban.

30/11/23 It's Still Obtainable!
Thankfully this hasn't be a one off event as I only checked today on here on off chance it may be possible again!
Just got it with a day left before this weeks event ends
So hopefully this will stay Obtainable for foreseeable future until EA inevitably remove weeklys again!!!

Weekly event at silverstone, just win the race whilst playing as Lewis Hamilton and the achievement should pop. Will end January 28th 2024.

Looks like this has finished again. Logged on 13th Febu to see and weekly event was down and not seen one back up again. 11th February looks like the last one. Sad times!

Wondering if its unobtainable as well. Have waited a week for a "weekly" challenge and nothings come up yet. Kinda sad I started it now, just to have one achievement ruining the completion.

Unfortunately, as there aren't going to be any further weekly events on F1® 22, I am afraid there is no way to activate this trophy and it cannot be achieved anymore.

03/11/2024 - available again - do it urgently for anyone who needs it
It’s enough to just complete it at any place (I didn’t check DNF, but they said before that it’s also good).
