How to unlock the Friendly Competition achievement in F1 23 - Definitive Guide

First of all, start a Two Player Career mode with the AI set to 0. Then, skip all Practice sessions and head straight into qualifying.

Both of the players should set their fastest laps they can for this achievement. Doing this, even with the 18 AI, you'll be seconds ahead of them, and just a tenth or hundredth away or faster than the other player.

If the qualifying leaderboard shows both you and the player you are attempting this achievement with P1-P2, then the achievement should have popped!
