Earning trophies is fairly easy, you can get one for:
a. Winning individual races in the regular career mode (you get one trophy for winning at each respective circuit)
b. Completing F1 World series races
c. Winning the F2 series via the Braking Point story mode, and/or by completing the Braking Point story mode in its entirety.
Once you have acquired a trophy:
1. Go to your mail by clicking the Back Button and redeem the trophy to put it in your inventory.
2. Go to "F1 World"
3. Click on "Trophies"
4. Press "A" to look at the trophies you have available to pick from, select one, and confirm.
5. Back out and it should show the trophy in the case and the achievement should pop.

It is worth mentioning, you only get the trophies when you open your mail on the main menu, which seems really dumb.
