How to unlock the Shot in the Dark achievement in F1 23 - Definitive Guide

1. Go to "F1 World"
2. Click "Play"
3. Scroll all the way to the right and go to "Time Trial"
4. Pick whatever category and car.
5. Pick Bahrain first, once in the car, hit pause, go to "Car and Track selection" and change "Session Start Time" to Midnight.
6. Once back in the car, hit "A" twice to go to the track.
7. On track, hit the Back button and then the Start button to enter Photomode, mess with the settings and then just back out, you do not need to actually create or save a photo. (Check your achievement tracker to make sure it counted)
8. Rinse and repeat by changing tracks by using the Car and Track Selection feature.

For those not familiar with F1, Jeddah is the track in Saudi Arabia.

This doesn't seem to want to work for me. It's locked at 50%. I will keep trying.

Very easy achievement, completed in less than 10 minutes. I cannot believe there was only 0.40% who got this achievement. This game is very easy to get achievements. I am only playing it because it is free on free play days.

@Akumarb26, Please read step 7 again. By hitting the back button, it puts you into flashback/instant replay mode, and then you hit the start button, which puts you into photo mode, which is what I clearly laid out. Technically, yes you could pause, then go into instant replay, then go into photo mode, but my method is more efficient and still works fine and is clearly detailed.

@Bodom: Lots of normal players (as the Xbox %), just jumped in, did few races and never looked to achievements. If you have 100m active users and only 1% are achievement hunters. Still 1 million people, so that is good money (DLC sales in games with DLC). But minor in overall player base.

Go to F1 World and Time Trial. Select F1 2023 and whatever car you want, then select Bahrain as the Event. When you’re in the car, pause annd go to Car annd Track Selection and change Session Start Time to Official and Confirm Settings. Advance and load back into the car again. Press cn_X twice to get out onto the track and as soon as you have control, press the touchpad button to enter rewind/replay mode. From here press cn_start to enter photo mode. You don’t actually have to do anything in here, just back out until you’re at the pause menu.

From here select the next track (Jeddah is Saudi Arabia), making sure Session Start Time stays on Official, and Confirm Settings. Repeat the steps to get into Photo Mode, and once you’ve done this at all 6, the trophy should pop.
