How to unlock the Choosing My Religion achievement in Fable Anniversary - Definitive Guide
The temple Avo will become available after completing a story quest (white balverine) simple go to the well with the 2 monks in front of it hit A on the well and select 100k to donate. once you donate the money the achievement will pop
(Edit1)
You will get a legendary weapon The Sentinus (Greatmace 255 dmg) for donating money (35k-45K if you are evil/ and 300k if you are fully good. if you are a mix in between it will range from 30k-300k). You can choose to reload a save to keep your money or just play on to keep your weapon. With the following solution money should not be a problem. KEEP THE WEAPON!
How to make fast money
First try to have a guile level of at least 3+ (7 is the best). The higher your level the better the prices in the shops and have 15-20k gold to buy emeralds.
Once Oakvale becomes available (in your adulthood) there will be 2 shops located by the tavern. A weapon and armoury shop and a general good shop.
Step 1
In the general goods shop the vendor will be selling emeralds. EMERALDS ARE THE KEY. he usually has around 20-30. hit the buy all icon (if you buy in bulk instead of one at a time you get a better rate per item).
Step 2
Sell all your emeralds again use sell all you get a better rate plus its faster
Step 3
Repeat
Step 4
before leaving make sure you hold all the available emeralds in your inventory, so the shop can resupply them. the more you have the quicker money you can make.
Side note
the shop will resupply every 5 days. so to speed the process along sleep for 5 day cycle and return and there will be another 20-30 emeralds.
In 20 minutes i made around 500k being level 7 guile
Do not sell more than 99 emeralds at a time. May cause freezing or crashing of your game
(Edit 2)
Step 6
When traveling Albion keep a look out for all gem stones, make sure to buy any kinds available (Diamond, Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire, Jet, or Amethyst). Once you have 10+ for each stone you can sell them and buy them back at a profit
i used this trick on the pc years ago and confirmed it still works last night. if you want to have more money than you know what to do with. this exploit is for you!
Any comments are helpful, if negative please say why so i can change it
*Thanks to MEGAMAN962 for pointing out that your alignment with good and evil affects how much money needs to be donated in order to get The Sentinus

I didn't vote negative (obviously - at time of posting this you have 1+ and 0-) but I have seen this "guide" copy and pasted for multiple achievements without actually explaining how to use the money you make to unlock the achievements.
In this case, where is the Temple of Avo? When can I access it? How do I donate money?

This guide is for the Avo side and an easy way to get gold. Make sure your Guile is a decent level (recommended 5). Once you have reached Knothole Glade or Bowerstone North. Buy as many Diamonds, Rubies, Emeralds etc. from the general stores. You can sleep for more time. Which gives them a chance to restock. Once you have all the gems you can buy, fast travel to Oakvale. Go into the general store and sell all your gems and buy them back. You will sell them for max profitable gold. When you buy them back they will be cheaper than what you sold them for, earning a sizeable profit. You can repeat this method infinite times to get MAX GOLD in MINUTES. Once you have obtained the amount of gold you desired, proceed to the Witchwood Cullis Gate which is the closest to the Temple of Avo. And fight a few bandits, balverines, hobbes or trolls through two areas. Tbe proceed to the temple and press the A button while next to the well in the center to donate 100,000 gold. And bleep bloop. Like this if it worked for you. And if I can improve my method, comment below. For Avo!

The "Evil" way to complete this quest requires you to sacrifice 10 followers at the Chapel of Skorm, which is attached to Darkwood Camp.
TIPS
* It's easiest to gain followers when you're famous and attractive. I waited until after winning in the Arena to start this. Equipping the Bright Platemail Suit also seemed to help.
* I found the easiest way to gain followers (close to the Chapel) was to start in Oakvale and spam the "Follow" expression with groups of people around the pub. Get as many as you can (my top was four) to follow you then begin to walk/run your way towards the Chapel of Skorm (DO NOT FAST TRAVEL, regular followers will not go with you). This route will take you through Barrow Fields, Darkwood Weir, the Ancient Cullis Gate, and finally to the Chapel of Skorm (via Darkwood Camp). You'll want to keep your followers alive, so be sure to watch for them and keep enemies away. Once you arrive at the Chapel of Skorm, speak to one of the monks there, agree to sacrifice a follower, and continue to do so until all of your followers have been sacrificed. You can repeat this process until you get to ten.
* Getting people to actually follow you can be frustrating at best, as you'll hear the, "Of course I'll follow you!" dialogue without the little "Following" sign popping over their head. Be sure to watch for that sign and keep spamming the "Follow" command until you gain followers.
* v Richieee x contributes that if you're character is already Evil, you can acquire followers at Twinblade's Camp. It's a longer walk/run, but worth mentioning!
* Skorm's Bow (one of the best weapons in the game) is a reward for sacrificing healthy, strong (un-harmed) followers at the Chapel. The way I obtained the bow was BEGIN at the Chapel of Skorm, then use the Guild Seal to fast travel to Twinblade's Camp. I hired the mercenary at the camp, then went back through the Cullis Gate to Bowerstone South where I hired the mercenary who is stationed in the pub. I then used the Guild Seal's recall feature (holding down on the D-Pad) to fast-travel back to the Chapel of Skorm with both of my hired mercenaries. Here's the key: Upon arriving back, I walked into Chapel, ate a Moonfish (to make it nighttime) and sacrificed the first one. This sacrifice netted me the title "Necromancer". I then immediately sacrificed my second mercenary and was rewarded with Skorm's Bow.

Alright, so I just done with this achievement. With my character already being 'Evil', the people in Oakvale wouldn't follow me. But what I did find was that if you travel to 'Twinblade's Camp' there should be a group of bandits around the fire in the middle. From here I just done the same as mentioned above (Spam the "Follow" expression). Doing this, I managed to get 4 bandits to follow. I also managed to hire 2 mercenaries on the way (One in the camp, the other one being at the gate to the 'Memorial Garden' gate in Oakvale), therefore bringing my total up to 6. Another option could be hire to mercenaries before trying to get others to follow.
This probably could have been worded better, but it's just a quick explanation as to how I done this since my character was 'Evil' to begin with. :)

I bough almost all the houses, decorated them, and them sold all of them. Make sure you save your game if you want more rent income.
I sold all my fully-decorated houses and earned around 110,00 coins, I then went to the chapel and gave 100k to the Gods and then got the achievement.
I hope this helps.
The best would be to buy the most expensive houses. Like the one in the snow-location, which I can't remember the name of, and the one in the lumber type of location.
Sorry for the poor research, just wanted to give you my way of earning this achievement.

Donating 100,000 to the Temple of Avo
1.)Buy and rent out homes / Shop Income
There are a few houses that the player can purchase by default, and killing the tenant of a house makes the house available for purchase (same thing with shopkeepers and shops).
Purchase these houses and rent them out to earn income off of them. Each house will pay a different rate, depending on certain factors, some of which are uncontrollable. However, placing trophies on the wall mounts of your homes will increase the property value, and thus the rent. Beware that a house will only stockpile 3 payments at the sign outside, at which point the rent is essentially free until you pick up the stockpiled rent outside.
2.)Haggling between shops
When you look at an item for sale in a shop inventory, the price is displayed next to another number in brackets. This number is the average value of the item, as prices fluctuate based on time and stocks. Simply buy products in bulk when they are heavily discounted, and then sell them to another vendor when the prices are high again, and soon enough you will be racking in the cash. This method also requires a significant amount of money to kickstart it.
Sacrificing to the Chapel of Skorm
1.)Renown
Once you have reached the Mid-Game, you will probably find that many NPCs have a love heart displayed on the minimap. You can increase your renown by completing quests and by performing the Trophy minigame, where you show off a trophy to everyone in an area. The more renown you have, the more people will recognise you and the more likely they are to follow you when asked.
2.)Lead people to the Chapel
Assuming that you have enough renown to command NPCs to follow you, (you can also sacrifice your spouse and your bodyguard if you hired one), simply trek to the Chapel of Skorm. Note that using the Guild-Seal will not bring your follower with you, so you may want to pick up followers in one of the areas near the Chapel. Then, interact with the hooded men in the Chapel to sacrifice your follower.
You only have to choose one to complete the achievement, as with most of the achievements.

At the very beginning, we upgrade our trading skills (where attack speed and shooting accuracy are concerned)
After that, in the wilderness we buy Apples wholesale (1 coin per apple) and immediately sell all the apples (3 coins per 1 piece)
Then you can do this with precious stones, etc.
Ps after leaving the Guild I immediately saved up for Plate Armor)))

Here both methods can be equated, because after donating 100,000 to the temple (huge money) or making sacrifices (bad karma), you can simply load the last save. Quicker sacrifice.

Don't want to part with your money? There is a solution. After donating 100,000 Gold to the temple and receiving the achievement, immediately exit the game and load the autosave money on the spot

Well, in general, the best option is to sacrifice. Although your karma will be spoiled for this, it will improve later if you bring donations to the temple, and this is necessary in order to become younger.
