How to unlock the Combat, Evolved achievement in Fable Anniversary - Definitive Guide
This is by far the easiest way to obtain this achievement, early on in the game. (Later on in the game, if you use the physical shield technique, you can get 20x no problem! The highest I ever got was 60x! If you're patient, do this in the arena, or the graveyards. But if you're impatient use this method)
Here is a list of the first few "Ages of..." Potions in the game:
-Ages of the Will: Twinblade's camp, in a barrel
-Ages of Might: Bowerstone South, in a cabinet in a house.
-Ages of Skill: Lookout Point, in the little pond (ripples in the water) towards the west. (by far the easiest first one to obtain)
About a quarter of the way through the game you will be given the side quest "Hobbe Cave." Once you are renown enough, start the side quest.
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE PHYSICAL SHIELD SPELL! VERY IMPORTANT TO HAVE!
I had level 2, but I'm sure level 1 will work as well. I also advise on stocking up on Will Potions.
Now, as you progress through the quest you will enter Hobbe Cave, which has massive, massive amounts of Hobbes (as the name would imply.)
This is when you initiate your "Physical Shield" power up. This power allows you to take hits, without depleting your multiplier.
The way Physical Shield actually works can be confusing. It does not run on a timer, it basically turns your Will Bar into a Health Bar, so when your Will gets low, just pop on another Will Potion!
If you run out of Hobbes, enter one of the rooms, this will cut your multiplier in half, but after you kill the Hobbes in that room, and then the Hobbes back out in the hall (they will respawn), this will increase your multiplier to around 20.
Once you hit multiplier 20, just bring up your inventory and use the potion! Achievement unlocked with little to no effort!
As far as I am concerned, this is also the best way to grind EXP! Go max out all your abilities while you're at it! Haha
If you dislike please explain why, as I am writing this at 3 a.m., and am very susceptible to mistakes.

Also using slow time level 1 during the quest Hobbe Killing Contest or whatever variant of the name it is where you kill Hobbes with Whisper is an easy place to do it around my 40th Hobbe kill I had a 30 multiplier.

Holding Y with the default control scheme is your bow/crossbow which charges the strike increasing the multiplier the longer you hold it... If you're blocking with Y change your control scheme back to default... as for detailed if you need it more detailed there's another guide that states the exact same thing with a video if you need it, but it sound like your control scheme either way just hold down whatever button you have assigned to your bow/crossbow and you'll be set

There are many, many places where you will naturally raise your multiplier above 20 while fighting but this was the earliest and easiest by far. +1
You might add that you will need to hold Y for a good two minutes to get a multiplier of 20 or more (I tried ten minutes for the lolz and got a multiplier of 61).

This achievement is easier than it looks. When you charge you arch (pushing Y) as more you keep it pushed more combo you gain. The achievement consist in getting a multiplier of 20 (the maximum is 50). and use any potion of Ages Of **. With an enemy or event a neutral character keep pushed the hit button for about 2:30 or 3 minutes. Once done target the objective and shoot to get a combo of 20 or more. Then use the potion and the achievement will pop.
In this video I talk in Spanish but I can be understood just watching it.
I hope it's usefull, and If anyone vote negative I'd like to know the reason so I can improve in my future videos.

you can actually get more then x50. I got x61 and have a solution minus the video as it's pretty self explanatory above

Funny thing I got the same multiplier. Thumbs up for the video. The only way I can think there was a negative vote was due to no mention of what quest you were doing in the video.

A little into the story, at Lychfield Graveyard, you have to get all 4 pieces of Nostros Armor and after finding and placing this armor, it will open a Demon Door and behind there is a road, there is nearly an infinite spawn of Hollow Men here (it does stop, eventually) but you can get your multiplier up to 50 or even 60 by smashing up these slow creatures. :)
Save all your Ages Off... potions, and set them to your Left, Right, Up and Down hotbars and use them here at x50 MP. You get the Achievement and you will be swimming in skill points!
Happy hunting!
(this is a 1 time chance, after the first time - there barely spawns any more enemies to fight when revisiting. But it's really worth it, so save your potions and use it here. The Hobbe Cave will never ever get even close to 50 MP. Also make sure you have the Absorb Damage with Mana magic skill here and stock up on potions for Mana)

2 fairly easy ways to get this
1) use a weak bow and keep close to a troll, be careful because he will jump and surround him self with rocks, which will make you loos the multiplier.
2) while fighting the boss at the end of the game, before TLC, you will have to fight around 10 minions, I just circled them using the bow, there was more than enough to get a 30+ multiplier... SN: I would also recommend having an ages of... whatever potion ready, so you can just hit the d-pad.

First of all, assign the Ages of Might, Ages of Skill or Ages of Will potion to a spot on your dpad. Then, get your multiplier to 20. An easy way to get your multiplier up is to equip an weaker offensive spell, like Fireball 2 and go into the Hobbes cave. If there are any Hobbs mages (ranged attack,) take them out first.
Then draw your sword, put your back against a wall and hold RB to block any physical attacks. Keep holding RB and hit B to use your spell. Each hit adds to your multiplier and if you run out of mana, just wait until it replenishes. It seems that as long as you hold RB, the multiplier timer is frozen, so you don't have to worry about losing it.
Once you get the multiplier to 20, use the potion.

This achievement is best obtained in the Arena in Witchwood.
Before going for this achievement you want to have the Physical Shield spell unlocked and ready to be used. This will allow you to be hit and lose your multiplier. Also have mana potions and a "Will of ..." potions ready because the spell drains mana when getting hit instead of Health and the other is needed for the achievement. Once you have gotten up to a 20 multiplier use the Will of potion and the achievement unlocks. You can assign it to your D-Pad and not fumble around for it like I did.
The video starts with a 4 multiplier because I had it from the wave prior and was too much of a gap between attacks.

The combat multiplier is awarded for the number of hits inflicted, but until you get hit, then it will drop sharply (from 20 to 10, from 10 to 5, from 5 to 0). We dial the multiplier 20+, go into the inventory and use the eternal potion of Strength, Dexterity or Will.

It was quite easy to get a 20 multiplier in the Arena.
I had:
• skill Time Slowdown 2
• Elixir of Will = 50 vials (collected along the way through the game and bought in the Arena training room)
• Elixir of Eternal Will = 3 vials (I didn’t collect or buy it on purpose, I collected it along the way through the game)
So, on the seventh wave with two stone trolls, I simply slowed down time and hit their stones with an ax. As soon as the 20 multiplier accumulated, I immediately pressed the BACK button, found the Elixir of Eternal Will in my equipment and used it.

It’s strange that no one wrote about the “Shield” willpower skill. Using it you practically do not lose the multiplier.

You can get it everywhere, the main thing is not to knock down the combat multiplier, to do this we pump up the Shield spell (dampens enemy attacks at the expense of mana)
