How to unlock the Fight Cluck achievement in Fable Anniversary - Definitive Guide

NOTE: Contains Some Very Minor Spoilers.

Chicken Kicker is far quicker than doing all the Fight Clubs, you also have access to it earlier than the last couple of Fight Clubs.

One of the rewards is also a Silver Key so you will have to compete in this anyway if you also want to collect all of the keys.

***Note: If you don't want/need the mini-quest walkthrough to unlock the Mini-game then scroll down.***

You gain access to compete in the Chicken Kicker mini-game after you have reached Oakvale (the place where you grew up, you will be sent there during the main Quest-line to talk to Maze).

When you reach Oakvale head to the Coast (left hand side of the map as you are looking TOWARD the ocean) and you will be come to a man highlighted in green saying that a Ghost has driven all his spectators away from his Chicken Kicking arena. He will then ask you to take care of the problem, accept and continue down to the beach and talk to the Ghost.

The Ghost tells you how he used to be a pirate and that he was lost at sea but can't go to his rest as his wife is still waiting for him to come home, he will then ask you to dig up some treasure by the docks (its in the sand on the left hand side of the dock) and give it to his wife (NOTE: You will need to have a spade which can be purchased from merchants in town).

Give this money to his wife (she is located on the beach on the right hand side of the map as you are looking toward the ocean, next to the doorway into another area, look for the green dot on your mini-map) and then go back to talk to the Ghost, he will then tell you the location of the rest of his treasure and will go to his final rest. The beach is now clear of the Ghost. Go back to the Chicken Kicker Host who asked you to get rid of the Ghost and he will thank you and go to the mini-game start (which is beside where the Ghost was located).

Guide Starts Here If You Don't Want A Quest Walkthrough:

Now that you have unlocked the event you can get down to earning that achievement.

You must score at least 250 points in 5 kicks to get the Chicken-Hat to unlock the achievement.

Start the game and you will be in an arena with a Chicken, Yourself and a 3x3 grid with numbers in it, these numbers correspond to the points awarded when you kick a chicken into the grid. (NOTE: The announcer is blind as a bat so even if its in the square, if its on the edge of it he can give you the points in another square, this is not a glitch its just annoying)

The Grid is as follows:

100 10 100
50 25 50
25 10 25

I did this with my Physical attributes all at level two, so anything above this will be able to unlock this.

***Just thought I'd mention that it is possible to kick it too far... I am maxed on all 3 melee types and my first full run up kicked it straight off the end... The best thing to do is just take a half-run up :)*** -Credit Goes To paramoreRyan .

Now the trick to do it is to sit at the back of the arena in the center, in-front of two posts of wood and face forward, then you wait until the chicken wanders right up to the first square on the grid on either the right or left side (ie beside either one of the 25's) but NEVER the middle (be patient, this can take from 5 seconds up to a minute).

When the chicken has done this RUN AT IT AND KICK IT WHILE YOU ARE STILL RUNNING this will give you maximum distance on the kick and if you do it correctly, give you at least 50 points per kick (this is what I got with my stats, I never got a 100, so if your stats are better than mine, this will be easier for you).

Simply rinse and repeat this process and if you have scored 250 or more points in the 5 kicks you will receive the chicken hat reward and the achievement will pop.

This only took me two tries to do, so don't worry if it looks complicated, its really very simple when you get the hang of it.

NOTE: If you kick the chicken out of bounds, this will cost you a kick and equal zero points so make sure you are not kicking it at an angle.

Sorry if this is quite the read but I try to be thorough and cover everything in my Solutions.

Hope this helps everyone out there, feel free to comment where I can make improvements/amend any mistakes.

Happy Achievement Hunting. wave

I managed to get a 100 on one kick. My physique level is 2. Lined myself and the camera up when the chicken moved to one side and took a full run up from the back. I did land in the 100 on two other kicks but due to the organisers "eyesight" or lack thereof, he said they were only 50 pointers.

In the original fable tlc, I would agree, you can become too pwoerful, however in fable anniversary at 3 strength I couldnt reach the 100, at 4 strength I could do it but run up had to be perfect, so seems they made this one require higher stats now.

I was able to get this my first try at level 1 in all might stats. Scored 25, 50, 25, 50, 100. Unfortunately you do not get the second or third place prizes if you win the hat.

You must either defeat all 4 Fist Fighter Gangs or score high enough in the Chicken Kicking Competition.

The Chicken Kicking Competition is in Oakvale but I did not unlock this achievement that way so I cannot give specifics on the stats you need to complete it.

To unlock this achievement by becoming the Fist Fighter's World Champion you must defeat all 4 gangs in this order. It will not let you do so in any other and you must also do this at night. The gangs only gather at night.
1. Bowerstone Quay
2. Oakvale
3. Twinblade's Elite Camp
4. Knothole Glade

When you find the fighting ring in each area you must speak to the leader of the group and pay 50 gold to participate. If it has just turned newly dark you must wait for everyone to show up and the leader will usually show up last. The first 3 leaders will all look the same. Spikey Mohawks with tattoos and scars. The last leader will be the Chieftain of Knothole Glade. As you progress through the fights it will get more difficult. Your competitor will take more hits to take down and you will take less hits to lose. It is predetermined how many hits are needed and your skills don't make much of a difference. In the first 3 gangs the amount of hits you can take per contestant does not drop below 4 making it pretty simple to win. If you lose a round the gang with dispatch and you will have to wait until the next night to try again. I find the best way to get the gang to come back is to sleep twice and wait at the circle until they return. The forth gang is where you may have issues. Here is a list for the final gang and their stats from http://fable.wikia.com/wiki/Fist_Fighters_Gang. This page has the stats of the other gangs also.

1st Contestant
Health: 8 blows
Hero Health: 4 blows

2nd Contestant
Health: 8 blows
Hero Health: 4 blows

3rd Contestant
Health: 8 blows
Hero Health: 4 blows

4th Contestant
Health: 8 blows
Hero Health: 3 blows

5th Contestant
Health: 8 blows
Hero Health: 3 blows

6th Contestant
Health: 8 blows
Hero Health: 2 blows

Knothole Glade Chieftain
Health: 30+ blows
Hero Health: 2 blows

If you lose in Knothole Glade simply run up the hill to house just past the one for sale and sleep twice( there is no cost and no penalty) then run to the Witchwood lake exit but don't leave. The chieftain will need to exit the area and return before you can talk to him again. As soon as he returns you may talk to him and you will be teleported to the fighting ring. You can wait at the ring for him if you would like but he walks very slow and it will take a long time. It took me more than 10 tries to defeat the chieftain. One of the best strategies I have found is to attack a few times in a row then do a flourish and while they are on the ground circle around them and hit your opponent in the back when they get up. They cannot block this and you can land many blows. Sometimes your attack will fail to connect and they will turn around so be careful. After defeating the chieftain there will be a cut scene and after that the achievement will pop.

I'm not sure it's bugged or I missed it, but I cannot get the bandit camp fist fighters to appear. I've completed Bloodline Part 1 which is most likely the problem.

I don't think that Bloodline part 1 is the issue, I completed it before I did the Fist Fighting Competition. Some other active quest could be the issue though. Also remember they only show up at night and if you sleep to make it become night it can take a few minutes for the gang to assemble. Maybe try starting in daytime in the Oakvale tavern then sleep to force nighttime, after that fast travel to Twinblades Bandit Camp then run to the Elite Camp. I believe the loading screens should cause them to appear. I'm not sure if this will work, I'm just guessing. I'll try it out later.

After completing the game, I still didn’t fully understand: does strength affect success in the game of Kuroball? Maybe yes maybe no. But I understood one thing. To get the maximum amount in this extraordinary folk game, you should strictly adhere to two things: 1. hit the chicken when it stands on the edge closer to the targets and 2. start running up, going beyond the boundaries of the field where you are standing, that is, in other words: you need a long run-up. Well, here we can add: just watch the chicken and aim where you want to hit. Once or twice for 100k and the rest for 25, 50 and you will knock out not only a chicken cap, but also the coveted trophy!

It's easier to go through the Kuropashka, it will open after completing the additional task. jobs in Oakvale - your hometown. The game itself is completed the first time, you just need to run up before the kick and point in the right direction.
