This achievement requires the player to buy a tattoo from a tattoo shop and a beard and haircut from a barber shop.

The beard and haircut can be obtained as early as Bowerstone South, where the barber shop can be found in the middle of the town. It doesn't matter which haircut (Bald style doesn't work, thanks to SilentRich69) and beard you choose, just change the existing haircut and grow a beard. If you don't have a beard to choose at the barber, you can find the "Standard Beard" card in the Picnic Area.

A tattoo shop can be found in Knothole Glade, second shop on the left after entering the village. You can also buy tattoos from wandering traders in Greatwood and Darkwood, but those tattoos can only be applied at the tattoo shop.

So buy one tattoo, a beard and change your haircut and you'll get the achievement. You don't have to wear them all at the same time since I didn't have a beard on me when I unlocked it. (i bought it in the past but removed it later)

You need to go to a barber shop. You can find one in the middle of Bowerstone South. Talk to the barber and then you'll get a menu with all kinds of hair styles. Choose one and the barber will apply the style. Same goes for the tattoos but for those you go to a tattoo shop (found in Knothole Glade) instead of a barber.

Got the achievement. But here's the thing.. the Knothole Glade tattooist is only in his shop at night. I hung around the shop for a whole day cycle to be sure. Night time rolled around and sure enough he comes walking up to his shop and goes inside. He then just goes about the shop scrubbing the floors and cheering for me when I approach, but at no point would he highlight green and let me interact with him. I tried for the entire night cycle until eventually he closes the doors and you can hear snoring from inside...

I wasn't in the middle of a quest, at least not a main story progressing quest. I have a bunch of "bronze" optional quests on the go, but the next story progressing quest is the Arena and I haven't even picked up the quest card from the heroes' guild yet.

So I eventually left Knothole Glade, entered Witchwood Lake, and ran up to the very first trader I saw walking the path. It just happened to be a tattoo trader, and when I bought tats from him... it unlocked. Just how it went for me I guess...

I did the Beard and Haircut earlier and got the tattoo later, no achievement. Went back and did another haircut and beard while the tattoo was on me, achievement unlocked. IDK why.... All in the same play-through.

mmh. It unlocked for me when i didn't have a beard but had a different haircut and a tattoo. Maybe I was lucky and you have to have all three at the same time. I'll investigate further.

The orange shops on the minimaps seem to be the hairdresser/tattoo parlours, in case people can't find the right places.

I'm in Knothole Glade now, went to the tattooist and for some reason I can't interact with him. He doesn't hightlight green or anything... anyone know what's going on here?

Make sure it's daytime and you're not in the middle of a quest.

@Webhead. That means his shop is closed. like drabik said: he'll only open his shop during daytime.

hmm.. Definitely made sure it was daytime,,. Of course, it's always kinda dark in Knothole Glade, but I used a moonfish and then slept until morning.... I'll try again tonight after work

That would be a bug then. Since his shop should only be open during daytime. It was that way in the original Fable and it is in Fable Anniversary. So if he's only open at night in your game, thats a bug.

Might wanna note that getting yourself the bald style doesn't count as a hair cut, I had dozens of tattoo's and a beard but a shaved head. Yet it never unlocked but the moment I got a buzz cut BAM it unlocked.

This seems to be completely bugged for me. Doesn't matter if its daytime or nighttime, no tattoo artist in Knothole Glade. I see the forgesmith, but thats all. Have tried numerous times!

Oddly enough, I never stepped foot in a shop of any kind... I bought a haircut, and a beard from one traveling merchant... then a tattoo from a different traveling merchant... once bought, it automatically updated my look and tripped the achievement once the third part was purchased and exited from the buy/sell dialogue screen.

This is just for people who can't find or killed the knothole glade tattooist. I personally had an issue where the tattooist in knothole glade was not showing up. Based off the other guide I'd assumed I had to start the game over. However there is a second tattooist in the game whom is located in Snowspire. Unlike his counterpart he is not marked on the map. He can be found in a stall/booth located in front of the house that is purchasable as soon as you get there. If anyone else experiences this glitch please mention it in the comments. I'd like to note that I checked knothole over two dozen times for that tattooist both during night and day all over town.

Yeh i had the same glitch, i couldnt find the tattooist in Knothole Glade but the guy in Snowspire was there and got the achievement after putting on a tattoo. thanks

There are also wandering tattooists in darkwood, greatwood and witchwood.
