How to unlock the Heroes of The Cloud achievement in Fable Heroes - Definitive Guide

The Cloud is a level in Albion that, at the time of writing this guide, is locked.

If you look, you will see numbers above it, the large number being 1000000000, and a smaller number to the left.

When the top 100 Fable Heroes players amass 1000000 gold each, the world will unlock.

Complete it then, to get your achievement.

EDIT: Thanks to Mr XBob for pointing out that the cloud is now available in Albion and Dark Albion.. It became available right after I posted the guide!

EDIT: So what happened was somebody hacked theor total money so that the world would open. Lionhead quickly resolved this, in doing so resetting the total, they restored the total to its previous figure.
Now according to the comments, the world is, again, open.. (legitimately this time)

Sorry to update this so slowly, i have other commitments that come first.

The Cloud unlocked this afternoon :) For both light and dark Albion, so this achievement is available to all now - it's a pretty easy level too.

I thought it might have something to do with something like that!! I did wonder why it shot up from 380 or so million to 1000 million so quickly :/

There is a hacked number it seems. and the level is locked :/ any tips? I just beat the light world.And i don't want to start a new game just to see it locked again

It seems to be locked for me too? However I see someone got the achievement 2 days ago. Anyone else having any problems as of 9th Feb 2013?

So am I right in understanding this is an Online Only achievement? I was misled by the tags that say Offline/Online...

Honestly, it's been so long, I'm not too sure. I think you have to be online for the total to register (obviously it's open now) but I'm guessing you have to be connected for your game to recognise this.

yeah i just submitted achievement flags. they added the Online to 5 of them, but also left the Offline/Online tags. that way you know it requires online for part of it, but can also be done offline other than that.

Does anyone know what the situation is with this? The number is ridiculous now and we can’t get in to The Cloud? Is this now unobtainable?

Check out the forum on Trueachievements. There possible unlocking methods and workarounds for the cloud level are discussed.

And it is still obtainable, just the level unlocking is a bit of a headache right now.

just wanted to say that for me in august of 2023 the level is unlocked and had no issues getting this

The level is locked in Offline Mode, however if you play Online (just set it to a private game if you want to play alone) The Cloud works.

This achievement is story related and will unlock with progression through the story.

This level is unlocked, legitimately, as of May 5, 2012. Just complete it to unlock the achievement.

To access THE CLOUD location, you must:

1. Internet connection and a free Xbox account.
2. Complete the third story location MISTPEAK.

After that, just go through the location THE CLOUD .
It's easier to complete on Family difficulty.
