How to unlock the The Archaeologist achievement in Fable II - Definitive Guide

At the start of the game, you get a bundle of equipment. Included is a spade. Simply wait for your dog to bark indicating he's found buried treasure. Press the down arrow and dig yourself up an achievement.

Wait for your dog to discover something it will start digging and bark at where it is - use the spade to dig it out the ground.
