How to unlock the The Companions achievement in Fable II - Definitive Guide

This is probably easiest done with two controllers rather than trying to synchronize your timing with a friend online.

You'll need to have dug up the ball for the dog first. Bring in the second controller as a henchman.

Press down on the dpad on both controllers at the same time and hold them until the meter is green. Release both at the same time.

Just do it with a friend and count down from 3 so you both release at the same time. Piece of piss.

Took me a couple of tries to do it with a friend, but with another friend we did it first try. Guess it depends on how good of friends you are, eh?

definitely easier with two controllers than trying to go online and convincing that person to boost. if you don't have two controllers then who are you??

I managed to do it with two controllers using the dance expression - just held down A on the second controller until the first was set up. Released them at the perfect moment first try!

thanks, after too many failed attempts it only took me 3 attempts to get the timing right using this method.

I got this today, using two controllers.

first, you don't need to get a ball for the dog.

you can use the right bumper and select any extend-able expression on the first controller, holding down the A button. DON'T LET IT GO! while the expression continues, select the SAME expression using the right bumper on the second controller, holding down A to extend it. Now, all that is left is to release both A buttons at the same time while the dot is in the green. both markers (for player 1 and 2) will be the same, so its not hard to do. Just takes a little bit of timing.

If you haven't got two controllers, invite friend to game, and to group/talk. Than - start is not very important, but is easier, when you and friend start at same time. Choose some easy (slow) expression like Dance or Heroic pose. When you doing expression say to friend when you want to stop. The easiest is stop in first green stage ;)
