How to unlock the The Double Threat achievement in Fable II - Definitive Guide

This is the way I done this achievement by myself, all you need is two controllers.

I just went inside the crucible and walk into the first room and just charge up your spell up to level 5 (to make sure) on both of the controllers and when the enemies spawn you just let go of B on both controllers.

Then you should get the achievement =D.

I just wanted to add that I couldn't get this to work with a level 5 Fire spell after several attempts. I tried a level 2 Lightning spell and it worked on the first attempt.

My partner and I did this with him having the 2nd controller. We both got knocked out at the same time and came back at the same time and got the achievement.

Yeah, fire spell didn't work, but lightning did. It's weird.

This can be done with two controllers. Get into a group of enemies or near a boss, bring in the second controller and mash X, Y, or B on both controllers.

It would be easier to coordinate this with a second person on the other controller or online with a friend, but its doable by yourself with the two controllers.

@stoolbridge, if you have two controllers, turn them both on and in the game, have the second controller press start and enter the game. from there just follow mysticweirdo's instructions.

It's definitely a little challenging to coordinate moving if you don't already have an enemy lined up and ready to be taken down, but it's definitely doable to control two players on two controllers.

I went into the cruicible and activated my second controller. charging will area effects spells do not work, but if you single out one bad guy and press y at the same time, it should unlock.

Actually you don't need gold on both accounts if you're doing this in local coop, one of my silver alts has some achs obtained in local coop with this one.

For that matter you don't even need a second account: just press start on the second controller and press A a few time to play the henchman without a save file.

Area effect spells do count, just make sure that they aren't Raise Dead or Time Control, as those wont count for a combat bonus.

Just FYI I couldn't get this one to pop using the 2 controllers scheme along with an AoE spell. I tried at least a dozen times with no result. However the first time I just pumped X on both controllers it popped so at the very least I suspect it's easier done with melee attacks.

Either a second controller, or another friend will help for this achievement.

This achievement requires both players to attack the same enemy, at the same time. So either mashing the X, Y, B buttons or coordinating your attacks will work. A large group of enemies will also make it easier for you. This will net you 10G!
