Barrel of Laughs

Barrel of Laughs

You annihilated 30 enemies using explosive barrels. Isn't it nice how conveniently placed they are?

How to unlock the Barrel of Laughs achievement in Fable III - Definitive Guide

If you do not have this achievement after beating the game, you can go to the Mercenary Camp and simply turn the safety feature off by pushing down on the D-Pad and shoot the barrels as the mercenaries will still by nearby them.

If that does not net you the achievement, then try going to Pepperpot Cave, across from the monorail station in Millifields. Immediately upon entering, you'll see a few barrels to your right, further down the path will be a bunch of hobbs. Get these hobbs to attack you, then lead them back up the back a short ways to the barrels. Try to group as many as possible in the vicinity of the barrels and shoot the barrels.

Do the ennemies/barrels respawn ?

I'm still a few kills short and can't find another place to do this.

I am fairly sure that the barrels at the Bandit Camp do not respawn, but I do not know about the Pepperpot Cave ones. I recommend grouping as many enemies as possible in the Cave, so that you get the most kills per barrel you can. If you find out if they respawn or not, please feel free to post back here and I will edit the solution with the info. Thanks!

Love those negative votes without feedback, got about 12 or more myself :)

Positive from me though, good suggestions.

Spiffert - Melee the cave entrance open (in case you've not done that by now).

I need those flaming barrels to respawn but I'm not having any luck with that. There do seem to be barrels near where soldiers are stationed in some places in Bowerstone. Those might slowly begin to add up.

Anybody who knows if there is any log on how many kills you have accomplished with explosive barrels? I´ve looked in the statistics in the sanctuary, but it only distingishes between the different types of enemies and between melee, ranged and magic

I can't find stats or respawn barrels either. Any tips short of starting a new game? This is my last achievement.

Great solution, thanks!

I was still missing some kills when I killed all the mercenaries standing near barrels. To get the rest of the kills, I lured some mercenaries to the other barrels in the camp. I found that the only thing weak enough to not kill them was my magic (fire).

The first time I went through the mercenary camp (during the main quest), I managed just one kill with barrels. I was actually having a hard time trying to only shoot the barrels and not the enemies themselves (originally, I was using my fire spell before using my rifle). Is there a way to manual aim or is there something I'm overlooking?

Also, I'm sure there are other opportunities to shoot barrels in other quests, right? If so, where would they be?

Mr Granstaff, you can pull the left trigger while you have your gun drawn and you will go into an aim of sorts. You cannot move while in this aim and the aiming is a little hard to move around but it helps a little when trying to only shoot barrels and not people.

I just try to make an Own Solution because Full Primal's didn't work for me.

First: make a new Game.

If you have the Quest to beat Saker, go to mercenary camp, After you got caught, just make a train of enemies and Look for red Barrels. If the enemies are next to the Barrels or in the near of it, shoot at the Barrel and you Maybe have 20-25 enemies of 30. or if you are Lucky you get the achievement right now.

If you didn't got it, just keep Playing the Story until you have to meet with Walter in Mistpeak Valley. (In that Train Station.)

After the train Station got destroyed, go down to the Place, make a train with the hobbs, and make sure that the hobbs are next to or near the Barrels. And then the achievement is Unlocked.

Sorry for my English, i am from Germany.
