How to unlock the Coronation Chicken achievement in Fable III - Definitive Guide

This is achievement can be missed (thanks to Darth Nightwing for reminding). There are only 10 judgements to make. If you don't get this before the last judgement then you will have to play the game again. This tip will instruct you how to get this achievement at the very first attempt.

If you are at a point in the game that you are worrying about this one, surely you will have gotten the chicken costume. If not then check your quest list for a Brightwall Village quest called "Chicken Chaser". You will get it as a result of starting that quest. If that quest is not on your list then I can only assume you aren't anywhere near needing to worry about Coronation Chicken.

YOU MUST HAVE THE COSTUME TO GET THIS ACHIEVEMENT! FINISH CHICKEN CHASER QUEST BEFORE BECOMING KING!!

Ok, IMMEDIATELY AFTER you become ruler of Albion and have agreed to the first days tasks and BEFORE you go in to the coronation room to decide the fate of your brother, press start, enter the wardrobe room and change into the chicken costume. Exit the Sanctuary. Now enter the coronation room, pass judgement and it will pop.

If it did not pop (for some strange reason) just keep the chicken suit on until you have to make another judgement. If you decided to become king before getting the suit, make sure you locate one before your last royal judgement. My theory is that if you're reading guides on this website, you want it to pop ASAP and will follow the instructions I have given.

edit: it has been reported but not confirmed that you can get this while wearing the chicken suit in a co-op game while the other person makes the royal decisions. ya know, in case you missed it.

I can 100% confirm-You can also get this in another players game...you need to be wearing the suit, but don't need to actually be the one making the judgement. I got this ach. last night in a random game, and I'm nowhere near being the ruler of Albion yet.

Just to add to the above, if you're a silly person like myself and managed to miss getting this while going through the game for the first time, you can get it by joining a co-op session and dressing as the chicken while the other player makes a decision.

*SPOILER*

This achievement can be obtained anytime between your first day of king and the final countdown of days before the darkness attack however there is a more preferred time to obtain it.

Ofcourse collect the chicken costume from the chicken chaser quest which can be completed as soon as you have the ability to complete side quests, this is essential because without the costume you cannot complete the Acheivement however the Tailors in Brightwall sells the costume also so it isn't so much of a big worry.

Then once you have the costume and have become the Ruler of Albion i DO NOT suggest you wear the chicken costume for your first decision because it spoilers the game in many ways, if you like good cut scenes then do not wear the costume because you will ruin one of the most important cutscenes in the game, also if you wear the costume then your statue in the Road to Rule with be in the chicken costume which slightly ruined my experience, but it wasn't much of a big problem.

I suggest waiting until your Second or Third Judgement as these dont have any massive impact on the story but do effect Albion in small ways.
