The Millfield one is terrible. He went to every direction in the mansion (like he was lost) and got stuck a lot in the caves. He couldn't be bothered to edit the stuff that didn't matter out (or record one)? Theres better videos out there at least for that zone.

no videos please. text based guides are much easier if written well, and the videos, apart from the terrible load times, are often even more difficult to follow than a poor written guide

i think that´s not right for a open world game like fable cause, its to difficult to describe the right places there

You can use the written guides if you don´t like videos. And I think the terrible load time is a problem of your internet connection.

Yeah, pretty sure that's the only time I've ever heard anyone complain about video guides. Personally, I hate text guides. "Start here, go here, walk here, turn left, turn right, now look back in that dark corner in the left of your second screen at 9PM."

vs. See open map, see where collectable is. Achievement unlocked.

Here is a great video guide by Achievement Hunter.

Note: NONE OF THESE ARE MISSABLE. You can simply go back and grab a key whenever (You don't HAVE to grab them on the way through the story)

Read the comments for a couple extra tips if your stuck.

The Video is by far the best way of finding them.

I'm hoping they are voting negative purely on that my guide is not a complete guide and that they will change there votes later on once it's complete?

There is a cave that you don't go into until later. You will get a quest from a guy who wants to write a book about hobbs. After you take him into the cave then leave for a while. You will be able to come back and grab a key and a book from inside that cave.

0

By DEMON362 on 09 Nov 2010 02:47
I don't think any of the keys are missable? If you miss them usually you can go back at some point like after you become king you can go back into the catacombs and get the keys / gnomes.

By Zavistic on 09 Nov 2010 03:14

I Waste U - I had the same problem, but I found that it wasn't a glitch. The key you find in The Hole behind the ticket station is the one you are most likely missing. Instead of entering from Mistpeak Valley enter from Millfields. The stations look almost identical so my friend and I were both thrown off by that. I hope this helps.

Yeah! opposite side of the lake from the mercenary entrance is a station with a cave behind it. Go in there for a key.

By Zavistic on 10 Nov 2010 08:40
Just to confirm - the 'missable' key he talks about in the hideout is not missable. I went back there after I beat the game and picked up the key. Other than that I found these videos really useful to pick up the keys I was missing, thanks for posting them.

I'm 99% sure you can't miss any keys. The developers were nice enough to realise most people won't grab the keys while running through the games and purposely put them in spots that might just require a quest to be done to get to it.

Overall, a pretty good guide, but probably the most frustrating thing about the videos is their lack of complete directions, especially in Mistpeak Valley. It's a labyrinth of trails and finding the exact spot where he is in the video was annoying to say the least.

allright, I'm having serious problems.... I got all 50 silver keys, and 3 out of 4 golden keys, but the last one is bugged I think... It's the one from the a key to a greater key quest, I stepped on both switches but the last platform doesn't rise, and the doo doesn't open as well :( Anyone else having this problem?

Are you 100% sure your doing it right? Have you tried watching a youtube video of somebody doing it just to make sure your doing it 100% correct? If you have done that then i think it could be glitched and broken?
0
0
By Zavistic on 15 Feb 2011 11:33
yes, you enter the room with a big chasm between you and the door, there's a platform floating with switches in directions, which rise new platforms/summon enemies... I've pressed al the switches of the platforms, now I can enter two spaces to left and right of the chasm, with 2 switches which I have pressed, but nothing happens :( I think it's glitched too, but I can't find a solution anywhere...

you need to make sure that people know that NONE of these keys are missable. No matter where it is, it IS possible to go back. The videos make a point to say the one in bowerstone industrial is missable and it definatley is not. After i freaked out a bit i found the key. So you may want to edit that in to make sure people don't start all over for no reason.

These are the four gold keys that THE IRISHMAN 35 guide is missing

Gold Key 1: Driftwood
You will first need to go to Millfields and complete the 'Restoration' side quest by paying 750 gold to repair the bridge to Driftwood. Once in Driftwood, locate and complete three more side quests (An Island Getaway, Pest Control, Giftwood for Driftwood) that will grant you access to the coastal islands. On the island you'll find a flit switch which you can follow and shoot the switch as it leads you up the mountain. At the top you'll warp to the Gold Key.

Gold Key 2: Mistpeak Valley
Chillbreath Cavern is your goal, located on the side of the map away from the Demon Door (two other caves are near the door). Once in the cavern, follow the main path uphill until you find an exit and follow it out. The same general direction will lead you down a hill where the Gold Key awaits in the ruins.

Gold Key 3: Aurora - The Veiled Path
Find the Enigma area of The Veiled Path and shoot the flit switch to get into the next room. Use the Fireball spell to light the torches you see to proceed. In the next area with colored floor panels and flames on the wall. The flames reveal the pattern to step on the panels: Yellow, Blue, Yellow, Red, Blue, Red, Blue, Red. Once completed, the next door will reveal the Gold Key.

Gold Key 4: Aurora - Shifting Sands
Complete the 'A Key To A Greater Key' in Aurora's city. Once complete, the guy who gave you the quest will sell you a key for 4,000. After buying the key, head to Shifting Sands and run across all the sand dunes. On the other side, hang a left at the cliff face and locate a path near the ruins. You'll find a door that requires a key, the one you just bought. Fight off some enemies on platforms to reach the Gold Key.
