How to unlock the You Can't Bring Me Down achievement in Fable III - Definitive Guide
If you get knocked out, immediately quit to the dashboard, then reload your game. You can check to see if youve been knocked out in the Sanctuary / friend room (under stats). (i got knocked out during merc boss fight, reloaded, then checked stats & it was at zero). The ach will pop either during the credits or when you regain control of your character.
Mstrofdashadows notes: If you play co-op with someone all the way through and don't get knocked out you won't get achievement.

No problem. The length of this game would make this a ridiculous ach to get if it was total fail for one knock out (except for those super gamers out there).

Just to let anyone know, the achievement unlocks after the credits.

To be totally honest, this achievement is really easy to obtain. I didn't buy any extra health potions (I only used the ones I found) and I didn't even aim to get this achievement in the first place. I reckon if you played Fable 2 well enough, then you will probably get this with no problems! An easy tactic with any boss-type enemy is to stay back, blast them with your normal magic attacks and roll to dodge their attacks. Maybe it takes longer than most strategies, but its a sure-fire way to get through un-scathed. If you do get low on health, remember, you can just roll around for a few mintues to regain your health!
Just to confirm any suspicions; letting yourself get knocked out when re-enacting the lost play (in the bandit fight scene) does not count against this achievement and as far as I'm aware, this is the only quest that requires you to get knocked out. Also, playing in online Co-Op does NOT count towards this achievement. You MUST do this in a single player game (Although Banetopia points out that you can get the achievement if playing two player on the same console).
If you really want to be on the safe side and you have the money, stock up on health and time-slowing potions as these will mean all the difference for new or casual gamers.
On a final note, if you are struggling or you fall accidentally then you can follow jedimaster573's solution and immediately quit to dashboard.
The achievement will pop along with game completion achievements during the credits.

Thanks for telling us about getting knocked out during the play. I was somewhat concerned about it when I let it happen but I figured it wouldn't count. Nice to have it confirmed.

Just make sure to stay stocked up on health potions and I also used the Summon Creatures potion quite a bit and it helped tremmendously. The creatures don't really fight all that well but the enemies focus all their attacks on them instead of you. Then you're free to use magic and or a ranged attack from a distance.
After you learn to weave spells, combine the Fire and Ice gauntlets when going up against the Sand Fury in Aurora. Then just stand in place and charge up the spell and wait for three or four of them to get inside the spell circle. Usually two magic hits takes them out or at least weakens them enough for one melee or ranged attack to finish them off.

You can actually get this if you do a few missions yourself and play more than 75% over Live co-op. That's what I did and I got the achievement 10 minutes ago!
Just be sure that at least 1 of the gates is opened by just yourself.

**SPOILERS AHEAD**
I would like to put all rumors to bed that you can get this achievement if you play COOP. I suggest just to be safe to get to Brightwall Village on your own before having a friend join your session. Play through the game with a friend as you would normally do. If your friend happens to have a lot of upgrades, he can help you dispatch most of your enemies extremely quickly, making not getting knocked out quite easy. Just be sure NEVER to get knocked out. If you do happen to get knocked out, follow jedimaster573's solution to quit to dashboard immediately. At the end of the game, during the final cutscene where Walter transforms into that monster, have your friend leave your game and you will have to fight the final boss by yourself. An easy way to defeat him is to use the Blades and Shock spell combo and spam him like crazy. I suggest saving your guild seals and invest in magic at the Road to Rule. It is very helpful to get the Magic Level 5 chest as this will make your spells extremely strong. After you defeat him you may skip the cutscene and credits and your achievement, as many others have said, will pop after the credits. P.S.---Save often and don't be afraid to use health potions if you are hurt.

This achievement isnt that difficult if you keep out of the way of your enemies and favour ranged or magic attacks. That said, if you use melee weapons you just need to make sure you flourish at the right time and use your blocks well.
For the bosses its easier to roll out of the way of their magic attacks and then counter them and make sure you carry a lot of potions and food with you. You can always quit if you do faint.

I did this achievement today and wanted to say a couple of things that others have not mentioned.
If like me you didn't get this achievement on your first play-through and had to play the whole game again (just for this last achievement in my case) here is a tip;
You can transfer any weapons, any items and any amount of money from your old 1st save to your new 2nd save so that you have them from the start of your 2nd play-through.
You can do this two ways,
Firstly and easiest-ly get a friend who you trust to join your 1st save's game and give him any weapons and money and anything you want to use on your 2nd play-through. Then start a new game and about 10 minutes into the story after you have done weapons training invite your friend into your game and get him to give you all your stuff back. Now you have a load of maxed out weapons and stuff from the start of your new game. You cannot open the gifts until about 10 minutes after that when you first get access to your sanctuary after you leave the caves and enter the Dwellers Camp. Then you have to wait until you have unlocked each weapon in the story (another 10 minutes or so) before you can equip the maxed out weapons by simply returning to the sanctuary straight after equiping the default weapons for the first time (Hero Sword, Hero Pistol etc). This method also works with anything like clothes, tattoos everything.
The 2nd method is basically the same except you use a 2nd controller instead of getting another person to help and it takes a little longer. By doing this you must start a new game with your dummy profile, then as before after 10 minutes join that game as a guest with your main profile then give the dummy your stuff again like before. After that play the game with the dummy for a further 10 minutes until the sanctuary is unlocked at the Dwellers Camp and then open all the gifts. Then save and quit with the dummy account. Then as before sign back in with your main profile start your 2nd play-through and invite the dummy in after 10 minutes after the weapons training part again. Then follow the other advice in the first method.
As previously mentioned I had only played through the game once before and did the 2nd play-through in one 6 hour sitting, ignoring the side quests obviously. I did not even get knocked down once surprisingly. Every so often I saved manually just to be on the safe side.
I have never even played a Fable game before my first play-through so if you are new to the games like me, do not worry as this achievement becomes very easy with your good weapons from the start. I did not keep all my promises 2nd time round and only saved about 3 million of the 6.5 million population so I had turned to the dark-side by the end, but as I said before I already had the good ending and saved everybody before so it did not matter.
If you also need the good ending achievement when you do your 2nd play through just give more money to your 2nd play-through from your 1st play-through character at the start.
To earn money easily after you become king just buy every property and put rent/prices to max and leave idle for about 2 hours and you will get around 6 million by doing nothing. Just make sure you are not idle in the sanctuary and plug in your controller so it does not switch off. And obviously transfer any earnings form your sanctuary cash pile to the royal bank/funds making sure you do this before you do the ruling that is open with 121 days to go as that's the cut-off point for making money.
As others have said the achievement 'You Can't Bring Me Down' will not pop until after all the cut-scenes and the end credits (the credits you can skip).
I hope all or some of this advice helped.
