This achievement (for the moment) is MUCH easier than I initially thought. Not only are “event” items considered higher than rare, but not having an upper body piece or lower body piece equipped is considered “rare” as well. Thus, to get this achievement all you need to do is get to the 4th reward (“Event” pattern) in the current Stadium Stars event and win 1 show which grants you the first reward in the Crown Rank (“Rare” Color).

tl;dr-win 1 game for rare color, get 4th event reward for pattern, and unequip any upper or lower body piece you have on

EDIT: as uberJames reminded me in the comments, it’s important to clarify that not all game modes give full crowns, which you need to unlock the rare color in the crown rewards. many of them give crown shards, making it so you would have to win a couple of those game modes to get a full crown (you need 60 crown shards for a crown). solos are the only core gamemode that give a full crown, but some special events give them away too. you can see what each gamemode gives you for winning on the show select screen.
