Thanks to Ex GHOSTface for figuring out the buggy- part of this achievement. In order to currently get this achievement you have to qualify with a score of one in a team game and then in the next round get eliminated. Other methods may also work but this has been confirmed working from multiple people now.

This is for winning a "team" game with a single point. This means the mini-games specifically labelled as Team. Note that finals that are team games won't count as they are "final" and not "team". It is also worth noting that with the buggy- nature of this achievement some of these games make not work for you.

Updated List of valid minigames for some users:

Fall Ball
Basket Fall

Hoarders
Egg Siege

Rotating events are good ways to get this. Golden Goal, in which you win by scoring a single goal, is confirmed to unlock this achievement if you follow the buggy- method. In order to unlock this achievement during this event you must win the first round and then lose the following round. Sweet Thieves also can get this achievement if you finish the round with only 1 thief captured on the capture team (and you might have to win). Addendum: Bahram has confirmed that if your achievement is not unlocking despite trying the above you can message the Fall Guys support team directly via https://support.fallguys.com/hc/en-us and they can force the achievement to unlock for you. Note the time the match was played at & screenshot the 1-0 score and you surviving the round.

I won a volleyball game 1-0 and didn't get the achievement btw. It had gone into overtime if that counts.

I was playing Duos, we got Volleyball, but it was a "Hunt" instead of "Team". It was my duo and I vs nobody (only 7 squads remained in previous round, got lucky with no competition). Scored the goal immediately and didn't get achievement for winning 1-0, but I did get the achievement for winning in overtime.

The game mode "Jinxed" counts! I was the last survivor on my team, while my teammates were all the jinxers. They got the last guy and it gave the achievement to my squad and I!

Yesterday I played squad while going for the 5 wins and Jinxed was finally appearing as a final round for us. We won one match while I was the only survivor in the team and nobody unlocked the achievement. :(

Huh, that is weird because I know fall ball was the original way to get this achievement on PC/PS4. With Jinxed! as well working for one person but not another its possible this is buggy-. I would encourage anyone who hasn't gotten the achievement when they should have to submit flag information for it being buggy-

unfortunately race wins are incredibly buggy. the only way to know for sure youre making progress is by winning in solos. i got my first 5 there and got the achievements with no issues. it would be better if fall guys fixed their achievements but unfortunately idk if they ever will

would like to confirm this achievement is super weird. i qualified from team tail tag in squad celebration with a score of one and no achievement. my team then got eliminated with a score of 40 in the penguin chase round and i got the achievement. as crazy as it sounds try to get eliminated in the second round of squad celebration you might just get this achievement😂

Yea I've qualified with a single point about a dozen times now, lost by a point a few on purpose, and won by one point more than anyone else. Not sure what else it could mean other than just being buggy.

this achievement is weird, defs not working as intended. The way I helped my friend get it was in egg scrambled. We were the team that lost and the only egg we had in our base was a gold egg which my friend was holding. Also the map before was team tail tag with only 4 tails and we qualified with only 1 tail (score was 1,1,2,0) before moving onto to egg scrambled and then doing the single gold egg elimination strat and bam achievement unlocked

Alright, I might have figured it out. If the achievement doesn't pop by doing the actual requirement (getting a score of 1 and qualifying), just make sure to get eliminated the following round.

Getting eliminated without doing the actual requirement of qualifying with a score of 1 in the previous round won't give you anything. Hope this helps someone!

Yep, I've mostly found them in squads now. An even better option is to doing the rotating game modes that work for this event, Golden Goal and Sweet Thieves both work and I'm sure more will over time.

Yeah this is very glitchy, just won a team game where only my team scored 1 point. Based on the achievement description, it should have popped there, but nope.

OK, but then my team lost the next round, and it popped. So needing to win the first round, and then lose the second may have something to do with this as noted by others. Back to grinding out the creator courses.

Support will force unlock it for you? That's wild. For the longest time that was unheard of in other games where there were glitched/glitchy achievements. Even with undeniable proof of completing the requirements, the dev support team would point you to MS and MS would point you to the devs.

I got the achievement after I messaged the support team. Won 1-0 in Fall Ball a few days ago and no achievement. I let them know about the time the match ended, they replied and said they would force unlock the achievement within the following 24 hours.

It’s possible. Started this week. Play around 400 rounds and it’s only last round of squads occasionally. Have gotten basket fall 3-4times. Always high score tho. Event for this mode comes out June 1. Best chance

Tried doing this today on fall cup and omg I never knew how hard it is to just have 1 goal my team scored 6 within a minute and we won 10-0 I was AFK and still didn't do it arg this is gonna be a grind! 😒

Weird. Same thing happened to us. We won first round 2-1 and lost second 7-1 and got the achievement somehow.

Here is my theory: I was part of a squad of 3 in a 16 vs 16 match. I scored a goal and was the only one on my squad to do so. So, for our first match we won with our squad (of 3) scoring only a single goal. So that's what the game counted. When we (my squad) got eliminated the second match with whatever score we got the achievement.

Solo: first round won 3-2, second lost 1-5 (no achievement)
Solo again: first round won 2-1 (in overtime), second lost 0-7 and got the achievement. I didn't score a goal in both matches.

Grinding for this is so obnoxiously tedious. I either get paired with people that are too good and score too many goals immediately, or I get paired with people that are medically brain dead. On the couple of occasions where I have actually met the requirements, the achievement of course didn't even unlock 😒😩

After many pianful attempts and qualifying scores of 1 on Fall Ball, it seems that only goals scored before the match time ends count. So if you go into extra time 0-0 then get a goal, that one goal does not count. Similarly, end 1-1 and get an overtime goal to win the round will still give you the achievement. So long as you have 1 goal when the timer reaches 0, you win and then you also lose the next round.... You'll pop the achievement.

What game modes are there currently that you can get this achievement in? I am yet to get put into a round of any of the mentioned rounds in this guide in a standard Squads game.

So according to fall guys wiki the best option to get this achievement is Fall Ball, I was playing squad shows for previous 100 rounds and never got a Fall Ball round.
So I guess currently there are two ways to get this achievement:
1. Pray to be lucky enough to get Fall Ball round
2. Wait until there will be something like Golden Goal event
There are no pending events with suitable team games until November 10 unfortunately.

I got this in Squads, in the Final Match which was the game mode called "Jinxed". You simply need to be on the winning team, which is a score of 1 so BOOM! Achievement unlocked.

Can confirm the method of winning 1-0 then getting eliminated works in Duos - just won Fall Ball 1-0 , next round was Fall Mountain - just held my teammate the whole time so they couldn't advance and once we were eliminated it popped

I just got a team score of 1 on the tail grabbing game (in 'Squad Celebration' event) and qualified and it didn't award the chiev. Having said that I also won several races (and team 1st) in Spartan Showdown, non of which popped my first race win achievement. Neither did my 'win after celebrating' achievement pop. This game is either a buggy mess beyond acceptable perameters or the descriptions are severely lacking, or perhaps both. Frustrating whatever the case!

I just got this getting eliminated from the hoarder game(I think that’s what it’s called, the one where you have to collect balls). We had one point and didn’t qualify and the cheevo popped. Can’t make this stuff up lol

Win the first round, the 8v8, and then lose the final, the 4v4, and the achievement will then pop. Quickly get it whilst this mode is active

@iBA17 I'm unsure whether or not this has been patched but when I wrote this guide to unlock this achievement you had to win with a score of 1 then get eliminated in the next round. Regardless though some people have confirmed you can directly contact the devs with proof of your 1 point win and they can force unlock the achievement for you, details are lower down in the solution.

It seems as contacting them after achieving the requirements won't always net you the achievement how others have had a 24 hour wait from their support.

Okay mine just unlocked. I didn’t use quick resume as I heard that can glitch achievements on it.

First Fall Ball game won 1-0
Second game lost 4-1

Anyone know if this still works in custom games? Tried to boost it in a custom game and no one got the achievement, so I'm wondering if it's been patched.

I may as well add my buggy experience to this too:

Just unlocked for me in the current Fall Ball Cup. We won the first round 2-1 (not 1-0) to which I was disappointed to be honest because obviously I was hoping for the 1-0 win. Then we got destroyed in the next round 5-0 but after elimination the achievement popped.

Earlier in the week I'd tried boosting in an 8-man session and the three attempts we eventually managed to pull off 1-0 wins, in which also included purposely eliminating ourselves in the next round, the achievement didn't work.

There was also a couple of legit 1-0 wins tonight with eliminations in the following round that didn't pop the achievement either. Really annoying but at least the current Fall Ball show provides a better chance than usual to give the achievement a shot.

The achievement for qualifiying after a game goes into overtime popped like it should by the way.

@soccerman so winning both games won't get you the achievement, you have to win the first one and then lose the second (final) round. If its not unlocking for you having done that I have heard you can message the devs and they can manually unlock the achievement from their end. Just get a screenshot of you winning a round with a score of one.

Unlocked the achievement on Oct 8th 2023.
This achievement can be obtained with 8 players in custom games. For this, the host has to make a fall ball custom session with 8 players. Once in the game, let one team score one goal and wait for the timer to run out.

On the next round (Final), everyone should jump off the ledge. Once on rewards screen, let it all pass and enter the main menu as you would normally. Then close the game and open it again. Once you open the game, achievement should pop. We did this with 8 players and all of us got the achievement.

The hardest part is finding 8 players. Usually, you find people who try to get this achievement on the gaming session tabs of Trueachievements.

Still working in custom as of 11/10/23

One thing to note we were not able to get both achievements from one game. Best case scenario:
Game 1 - Low Baller for one team (score before overtime starts)
Game 2 - Low Baller for the other team
Game 3 - Down to the Wire for one team (score in overtime)
Game 4 - Down to the Wire for the other team

Everyone closes Fall Guys and reopens it, the achievements should pop after you press start.

Just wanted to add that this achievement is currently not unlocking in custom games. Got a group together last weekend; tried everything from Fall Ball Cup to Basketfall yet nothing worked. We even reset our games and a few other tricks, but nothing worked. This achievement may currently be only obtainable through regular Squads gameplay unless someone confirms otherwise!

Got this playing Fall Ball Cup on the event for 1/4/24. Ultimately you have to win 1-0. Whether that be in regulation or in overtime.

That being said, I played with a group and won the first game 4-1 and lost the 2nd. Somehow the trophy popped for me. I’m not sure if I did something or I just got lucky.

I’d say just keep at it. You should get it legit or maybe it’ll be nice and pop randomly for you like it did for me.

Recommended Mini-Game: Fall Ball or Jinxed.

This trophy requires that you qualify from a team game, with your team having a score of exactly 1. For high-scoring team games such as Egg Scramble or Hoopsie Daisy, you can forget about attempting to earn this trophy there.

Jinxed is most likely where you'll get this trophy as the score counts down rather than up. Jinxed requires that players essentially play a team game of infected, with the last team having an uninfected player winning. Jinxed games frequently come down to exactly one player on each team remaining uninfected, so winning Jinxed often means unlocking this trophy.

Fall Ball is also viable when the players on both teams are particularly high skill, playing defensively. Fall Ball games can come down to 1-0 victories, which will unlock this trophy. Fall Ball also features overtime, so if you go into overtime with a 0-0 score, you can score with your team just once to earn this trophy.

The trophy will unlock as soon as you win a team game with a 1-x score.
