How to unlock the Death From Above achievement in Fallout 3 - Definitive Guide

After you wake up in the Citadel's clinic, after completing the "Take It Back!" quest, you are greeted by Elder Lyons, who gives a short overview of what happened during the two weeks you have been unconscious. He then sends you to Scribe Rothchild for a more detailed briefing. Rothchild explains how the Brotherhood systematically attacked Enclave camps with the help of Liberty Prime which has proven to be far more effective than expected. The objective of your mission is to learn how the Enclave are still able to communicate and coordinate their scattered forces, even though Raven Rock has been destroyed. It is believed that the Enclave-controlled Satellite Relay Station might be able to provide answers and you are sent there to assist the assault.
When you arrive at Rockland Car Tunnel, you are briefed by Paladin Tristan. As in Take It Back!, Liberty Prime will take point, with you and other Knights providing support. The first phase of the assault proceeds much like that mission, as the giant robot stomps implacably down a canyon, swatting Vertibirds out of the sky and crushing all "Communist" opposition in its path.

When the Brotherhood force arrives at the relay station, Liberty Prime analyzes it for weaknesses and then punches a hole in its wall, allowing entrance. Soon afterward, however, he warns that an uplink transmission has been detected and that an orbital strike is imminent. If you do not stay back or immediately retreat to a safe distance from the robot, you will be killed.

Liberty Prime is wrecked by the missile strike, managing to drag himself only a few yards with his remaining arm before shutting down. In the process, his head comes off; like Deputy Weld's when Megaton is destroyed, it can be activated to hear some of his anti-Communist phrases, now slurred and garbled.

The surviving Brothers regroup, and Tristan orders you to enter the base and find out what just happened. Assisted by a squad of Paladins and Operations Officer Edwards, you must fight through many Enclave soldiers before finally reaching a computer room. Encrypted codes can be downloaded from the mainframe terminal.

You are told to return to the Citadel and give the codes to Scribe Rothchild for further investigation. After lamenting the robot's fate, Rothchild takes the data and directs the player to Elder Lyons. Talking to him finishes Death From Above and starts the next quest, Shock Value.

All you need to do is go to the building with the Brotherhood and once the robot dies you should have a hole in the wall, go threw and the door will be unlocked after talking to you`re escort... follow the building all the way to the top until you get into a room full of computers(only one you can use) and download the incripted data, for a quick escape go left of the computer and out the door to the wastelands(Note that many people had this achivement glitch on them...including me... it poped up but diden`t add to my total GS for the game or profile and yet when i look at it in my games i have 1100 and not the 1070 it says i have.) hopefuly Bethesda will update this problem soon and if anyone has a solution please share it as a comment on the guide.

I installed the dlc and got the XP cap raised, did Point Lookout, but when I'm back in the wasteland there is no quest. I go to the building with the brotherhood (forgot what it is called, the place with the shooting range in the court yard) and nothing happened. No one talked to me. Any ideas? Message me.

After completing Take it Back!, you'll find yourself in the clinic at the Citadel. Elder Lyons will meet you and tell you about the situation. He then sends you to Scribe Rothchild. Speak to the Scribe and he'll tell you that the Enclave are still communicating, despite Raven Rock being destroyed. Rothchild then sends you to meet Paladin Tristan in the Rockland Car Tunnel, do so and talk to Tristan. Next, you have to assist the Brotherhood in taking out the Enclave, follow Liberty Prime, taking out the Enclave as you go. Eventually, the Enclave will destroy Liberty Prime, talk to Tristan and he'll send you into the nearby building. Fight through the building and you'll find a computer room. Download the data from the mainframe and return to Scribe Rothchild.

Story Related and Unmissable

Before starting this DLC make sure all your equipment is fully repaired and you have plenty of ammo and health items, because there are some major battles ahead.

After waking up and being debriefed by Elder Lyons, he will tell you to speak with Scribe Rothchild. Before you go and see Rothchild, make sure you tell your Companion(s) to follow you because they will have changed to "wait" status. For some reason the quest marker for this part of the quest will send you the long way round to the Lab. To avoid an unnecessarily long walk, turn right after you leave the Clinic then follow the signs to the Lab.

After arriving at the Laboratory, speak to Rothchild and he'll tell you to go to the Rockland Car Tunnel and talk to Paladin Tristan. The fastest way to get to the tunnel is to Fast Travel to the Dunwich Building then walk South West until you reach it. Inside the tunnel speak to Tristan and then make your way outside to the Satellite Relay Station.

Once outside, stay a good distance behind Liberty Prime and let it kill most of the Enclave soldiers. Once LP gets to the wall of the Relay Station and makes a hole in it, you can make your way up the cliff on the right then walk along the ledge into the building. You won't be able to go through the door that is there because Tristan has the key, he will appear after the subsequent event and will give you the key following a short conversation.

Now you're inside the Relay Station, fight your way up to the Satellite Uplink terminal and download its data. Now leave the building via the nearby exit, Fast Travel to the Citadel and give the data to Scribe Rothchild. After handing over the Data, talk to Elder Lyons.

The trophy will pop after you finish talking to Lyons.
