How to unlock the Vault 101 Citizenship Award achievement in Fallout 3 - Definitive Guide

This should be the first achievement you get. You'll get this during the 10 year old birthday segment which is just a matter of minutes after creating your character. Cannot be missed.

I missed because it was bugged and i needed to restart. I had the same trouble with the goat test achivement

It's literally one of the first achievements you get in the game, so this is pretty much unmissable.

You get this achievement right after you and you dad walk to see your friend Amata when you a baby.Then there will be this bright light they blind you with then Amata's Father the Overseer will give it to you because, your ten.

At your 10th birthday the Overseer of Vault 101 tells you that all 10 year olds recieve their own Pip Boy 3000s and are ready to start work tasks in the Vault . So after you get the Pip Boy the achievement unlocks .

the first acheivement that you get when you are 10 years old in the game and after you create your character. CANNOT be missed :)

Story Related, Unmissable

After your birth you get to setup the basic aspects of your character e.g. sex, hair colour etc. The game proper starts when you are 1 year old with the Quest 'Baby Steps', you will get to customise your controls and S.P.E.C.I.A.L traits (see the Road Map for an example of which traits to use) once you escape from your play-pen. Make sure you make a note of the Revelation Number (216) as you'll need it later on in the game. After your Father returns, you'll be asked to follow him then the screen will fade out and fast forward to your 10th birthday where you will be given the Pip-Boy 3000 as a birthday present by the Vault 101 Overseer. The trophy will pop almost immediately afterwards.

After finishing the quest for Baby Steps you will immediately flash forward to the age of 10 and be awarded your Pip-Boy.
