How to unlock the All Sugared Up achievement in Fallout 4 - Definitive Guide

EDIT: 04/24/23 I just received a message that the gazelles DO NOT count towards obtaining this achievement. Unfortunately I don't have the game anymore myself and can't check all the information mentioned in the comments in-game anymore. I deleted my original EDIT about gazelles being valid for this achievement based on the messages I received. Back in the day killing them worked for me, I just guess that they patched it. Happy hunting!

EDIT: 1/9/16 I just unlocked the achievement and I can confirm that it works with Newka-Cola and Nuka-Free. It isn't glitched either it is simply a huge pain in the butt. If you use any of the Nuka-mixes below you will have to face very short durations of the different effects on your character. You can push rb in the status screen of your pip boy to see if there is still an effect active. To give you an example: The Newka-Cola effect only lasted roughly 10 seconds. I could only kill around 2 enemies with one Newka-Cola. Feel free to use any of the mixes that you can create after picking up the various recipes in Nuka-World. Some of these will last much longer and will, therefore, make this achievement a lot more achievable clap. As mentioned in the comments, Nuka-Power seems to be the most effective mix because it has the longest duration of all the mixes.

______________________________________________________________________________________________________
I want to point some things out, just to avoid confusion.

It is recommended that you do these kills before clearing all the different areas. It is easier to find enemies there than in the free areas around Nuka-World.
To get this achievement you need to kill creatures that are unique to Nuka-World. Similar to the "kill x Far Harbor enemies" achievement of the previous DLC, just killing mirelurks won't do to net you this achievements.

Another very important thing to keep in mind is the fact that you cannot just drink Nuka-Cola or any of its varieties like qunatum, dark, grape etc. You have to make sure to drink "Nuka-mixes". You can craft these via the new Nuka-mixer stations which are availiable in the crafting section in your settlements.
If you don't want to build stations on your own you can find some of them in Nuka-World as well. Refer to the comments section to get details about their location in Nuka-World.

There are 4 different stations, but all of them create the same mixes so it doesn't matter which one you build.

Also, it doesn't matter which mix you drink. All of them are valid for this achievement. From the get-go you can choose between the following 6 mixes:

Newka-Cola (Nuka-Cherry + Nuka-Cola)
Nuka-Buzz ( 2 Nuka-Cola Wild)
Nuka-Fancy ( Nuka-Cherry + Nuka-Cola Wild)
Nuka-Free ( Dirty Water + Nuka-Cola)
Nuka-Love ( Nuka-Cherry + Nuka-Cola Quartz)
Nuka-Twin (Nuka-Cola + Nuka-Cola Wild)

Additionally you can use all the mixes you get for the various recipes in Nuka-Word. If you have already completed the main missions, you can still kill enough enemies in the surroundings of Nuka-World.

You should not have any problems finding enough materials to mix those, since Nuka-World is crammed with all sorts of Nuka-Colas. Keep checking all the Nuka-Cola vending machines and you should always have enough in your inventory to mix the hell out of that stuff. If you, nevertheless, run out of Nuka-Cola try the Colonial Taphouse in Diamond City. They usually sell them there. If they are out of stock just wait for 48 hours.

The video below shows all the new creatures that are valid for this achievement:
(Video credit: WackyWeirdo)

EDIT: As BLAZE VII pointed out: "I think rats and ants are easy to farm. Also no need to go do Diamond City, Shelbie Chase in the NUKA-TOWN MARKET always sells a decent set. Just sit next to the red chair and wait 48h but again."

Hope this helps you guys!
Any improvements? Please let me know in the comments below! wave

FML I've been killing all kinds of monsters for hours now. Cheers for that. Any good location for the kills? I think rats and ants are easy to farm. Also no need to go do Diamond City, Shelbie Chase in the NUKA-TOWN MARKET always sells a decent set. Just sit next to the red chair and wait 48h but again.

Any decent spot to grind kills post-story? Or should I restart the DLC and grind out Worms at the Gulch and Robots at Galaxy Zone?

Is there a way to do this post-completion? I did the second quest, it seems like there are no more monsters to kill.

@BiggDope, when you use a chem or drink something, you can see a small pill icon below your AP. When that icon disappears, the effect is over and you need to use another Nuka-Cola mix.

can you only build the mixing stations or are there any around Nuka World?

Building the mixing stations isn't necessary, there are a lot of them around Nuka World. There is one in the Galaxy Centre on the second floor of the Starport Nuka on the way to the Vault-tec building.

i just dont get it... i mean between the dry gulch blood worms, the nice group of ants and rats ive killed and the nukalurks that come at you in a group of about 10 or so i should easily have this in the bag... not to even throw in the the dozen or so gatorclaws, and crickets ive killed ... this shit has got to be glitched to all hell for some people or something

I have to apologize. There is no indication in the top corner for cola mixes. There is one for the standard nuka-colas, though.

Can I save the game, drink a mix, kill a bunch of people, and then repeat to get progress towards the achievement? So far from what I've seen, the Mixes barely even last one minute, so it's going to be extremely annoying to renew a mixture constantly, especially without a warning of it running out. The achievement seems pretty uninspired and is killing the momentum of me playing because I don't want to get locked out by not having enough enemies to kill.

Just to add to this crap - currently at 110 kills, do have molerat disease (since forever), no achievement yet. I've only used Nuka-Void since it lasts a while and I continually check my status screen (RB) to verify the effect. Continuing to grind but pretty fed up...

I am sorry to hear that the achievement didn't unlock for you guys yet. It definitely is not unobtainable, there are a few gamers who have already unlocked it. I am still working on it myself. As soon as I know something more specific I ll update the solution.

Not sure about this but try with the mixes which add SPECIAL attributes to your character. Ones like Newka-Cola or Nuka-Free may not work as they only restore HP/AP. If that doesn't work then it's probably glitched.

So I think this achievement requires you to use a cola that actually effects something other than HP or AP. Once you consume a cola that just does that, it has no effect on you and the achievement description says otherwise.

Yeah this achievement is bullshit. I cleared almost everything drinking orange and victory Flavors. I did safari and the plant drinking Cooler but I'm not sure if I did over 40 kills. Felt like I did with 20 something Gatorclaws and all the Nukalurks.

Thankfully I have a save when I started the dlc but before I did any of the parks.

Also it would be a good idea for people to maybe write what creature they killed when the achievement popped. Not every "creature" might count.

By Fooga on 31 Aug 2016 20:06
OK, it unlocked silently for me, so I can't tell which creature I killed last but here is my experience with this achievement. I used Nuka-Bombdrop, Nuka-Cide, Nuka-Frutti, Nuka-Hearty, Nuka-Lixir, Nuka-Power, Nuka-Punch, Nuka-Sunrise, Nuka-Void and Nuka-Xtreme. I shot up the World of Refreshment, then the Safari Adventure and afterwards I just ran along the sides of the map, shooting everything I see. Just make sure you always have an active effect from the mix in the Status section of the Pip-Boy. The creatures killed are the same as the video above. The achievement is not glitchy just a little misleading, it's best if the mixes are the ones I mentioned, though you may have success with the others as well. The whole thing took me about an hour. Good luck with this one and I hope I was of help.

I haven't progressed in the story either, so that's not fatal. Some of the enemies will respawn after a while, so come back in a week or so and just run around and you will get it.

By Dr Scruffleton on 31 Aug 2016 22:07
I'm not sure but I think the ones around the edges of the map respawn after a while, you can also get some enemies from random encounters, one such spot is the hedge outside of the Safari Adventure. Worst case scenario you'll have to reload an earlier save.

By blackdragon#3733 on 31 Aug 2016 22:26
I just reloaded a super old save and got it. The only drink I used was Nuka Cide. I only killed the ants where you get the key for the mine car ride, the blood worms while clearing out the mine car ride, then gatorclaws. The achievement unlocked upon killing a gator

I would highly recommend to anyone looking at this prior to starting the dlc, that you build a nuka machine at a settlement and start working on it asap. I waited till the ned of the dlc stroyline to get the power on and use the parks machines to mix drinks and there are now no painted ghouls, gatorclaws, bloodworms, nukalurks or aggressive robots. I'm just wandering around looking for rats and crickets.

I just tried reloading a save killing four Painted Ghouls over again while under the effects of Nuka-Cide, so it doesn't appear that method will work.

Okay, so I just saved my game and went on a rampage. Only cleared one of the parks at this point so I had plenty of enemies roaming around. I mainly used Nuka-Cide and it surprisingly had a very long lifespan. Though I definitely had to kill way over 40 enemies. Like, double that easily.

For those who don't know, if you go to STATUS in your pip-boy and hit cn_RB to 'show effects' it'll show any lingering Nuka-Cola effects. I would check this before killing in a group of enemies and right after to see if it would count and I ended up getting it right around my 40. Some last longer than others so maybe you're getting kills when the effects have already worn off.

The best mix to use is Nuka-Power as it has the longest duration. I am not sure why the solution does not mention this. I got the achievement after completing the story by killing enemies around the edge of the map. The enemies I killed were Bloodworms, Ants, Cave Crickets and Brahmiluffs. It took me about an hour of wandering around the map to find them.

I just got this using a combination of most the flavor mixes, including Newka-Cola. The achievement popped at exactly 80 kills. Kills included cave crickets, bloodworms, rad-rats, ant variants, and nuka variant robots. These are the only ones I had access to at the time.

really wish there was a counter or a way to track kills as it did feel like I had killed way more than 40 creatures, but nuka power definitely is the one to use, once I got the recipe and made a few, it unlocked when I got to Dry Giulch during the quest to secure each area.

So my word of advice is that if you know you're over 40 and it still hasn't popped, just keep going until it does. If not wait for a patch. But yeah this achievement is just pure crap.

By xBrushedRedx on 03 Sep 2016 04:32
The achievement is for sure not glitched. I think the problem many people have is understanding the length of the effects. Some of them only last for like 7-10 seconds, which means you will end up killing creatures thinking you're under the effect (I know I did).
Also, It's obviously easier and faster doing this while working on the story, but it's not that bad if you want to wait till after the story. Took me less than an hour running around the map, finding creatures.

Are those 6 drinks the one posted above the only ones we can use to get the achievement? I used Newka-Cola and didn't see any side effects but i did use Nuka-Buzz and had multiple side effects like -1 agility it would change often and lasted about 3-5 minutes.

It's taking us over 40 for sure. I checked that notification. Nuka-Void and Nuka-Rush lasted several minutes. But yeah it's taking some way longer than others. Just because it's not glitched for one doesn't mean it's not for others. That's just how new DLC goes but glad I'm not alone. It took me redeeming my tickets several times to make Eyes on Prize show. Seriously made a save before depositing my 100,000th ticket and had to continually reload and deposit before it finally didn't even pop; just showed up. Just chill out though. It's new DLC. That's what I was trying to get the word out. Either wait for a patch or just keep going til it happens if you're impatient like me. But yeah DLC is extremely buggy. Some will claim it's normal for them but for others (like me) counters are glitched to oblivion and it's frustrating as hell

I got my achievement just playing the story normally making sure I used a Cola(Hotkey) before ANY Nuka-specific enemy. The only 2 colas I used were Newka-Cola and Nuka-Void. I got to the Dry Rock Gulch, activated Nuka-Void and ran the entire area. Managed 24 kills.

I got this with no problem, I only used Nuka-Cide and I only needed two. I used one to clear the worms inside the gulch main area and I used another during the mine quest. Maybe some folks were having trouble because their companion was doing damage? When going for "the harder they fall" I don't think it counted unless the player got the actual kill. I told my companion to stay behind or I used an over-power weapon to make sure I got the kill.

I was having issues with this too. I got over 50 kills using newka cola and using vats. That didn't work. Decided to try nuka power mix instead. Farmed gazelle (after turning on cloning machine, waited 7 days, there should about 10 of them in there, rinse/repeat). Didn't use vats or reload game. Used bladed weapon. Cheevo popped shortly after 40 kills.

I had a permanent status effect and didn't get the achievement after killing 100s of gazelles, I only got the achievement when I loaded an earlier save where I didn't have the status effect and restarted the dlc. I can't be 100% sure but its possible that having an additional status effect to the Nuka-cola mixtures will make the kills not count

@ThirdEcheIon yeah that was what I had, if you have an earlier save without the disease I would recommend restarting the dlc from that point. If not you could try just restarting the dlc as that may have fixed it by itself.

@DjentLives (and everyone else) I had the same issue where no matter how many gazelles I killed, the achievement wouldn't pop. I restarted the DLC, went straight to the power plant. Got the power recipe, bought a bunch of Nuka-Dark from the market, and make Nuka-Power. Used them through Dry Rock Gulch and the Safari Zone and got it fairly quickly.

Can confirm I finally got the achievement after what felt like a lot more than 40. Mostly using New-Cola and finishing off with Nuka-Void.

I also had Molerat disease.

I got the achievement by killing a Rad-Pup in the Reptile Zoo.

I got my achievement while killing rats. I used Nuka Void for pretty much all of the kills (mostly ants, crickets, gazelles and rats) but I was definitely way past 40. I also did this after clearing the areas so it is possible just slower.

I wonder if mine was bugged. By my count, I only had about 15 kills comprised only of rats, ants, and bloodworms (and this was after completing Nuka World) using Nuka-Power. Trying the area NE of Evan's house I took on a group of four crickets, then I encountered two ants and two ant swarms and the achievement popped for me shortly afterwards. I'm wondering if the ant swarms count for each ant in the swarm because there is no way I hit 40 otherwise.

I spent hours to unlock it with my best-leveled character and I killed more that 200 enemies from Nuka-Cola world. With no result. Then I found an old save from part of the story when I didn't have this permanent "molerat disease" (quest from Vault 81). Achievement popped after exactly 40 killed enemies (Nuka-Power / worms and some ants from The Gulch).

Got it in 50-70 minutes; had molerat disease and had already cleared all zones. Used Nuka-Void and some other, running around map terminating ants, crickets, stingwings, deathclaws. Didn't need gazelles.

I have had molerat disease for as long as I could remember. I used Nuka-Punch and just got it. Damn, I think the duration on that is like 5 minutes.

FWIW, I tried farming gazelles in the safari, but I killed them all. Rather than waiting, I just ran up and out the back of the area (by the Anaconda), then headed left killing everything I saw. Took about 20 minutes.

So I can confirm the Nuka Power worked for me and Newka Cola. I also had Mole Rat disease and it didn't affect the achievement
I killed Ants, Crickets, Rats, A LOT of Bloodworms, Nuka-Lurks, Gazelles & Gatorclaws.
One of either two things here: It's glitched and you need to kill more than 40 or certain enemies don't count because the description is so vague, in my opinion I don't think the Nuka-Lurks, Gatorclaws and Gazelles works for some reason. So you're best bet is to kill all the bloodworms in Dry Rock Gulch and then spend the rest of your time running around killing ants and crickets.

I'm going to throw this on here because it's not been mentioned and it messed me up for a while.

VATS does not slow down your timer for how long the mixers last!!

That means that if you drink newka and switch to VATS then you will need to turn on vats, select the body part and make the slow motion shot/kill all within a handful of seconds.
It's nearly impossible to get more than one kill this way even if you nail multiple targets the newka will have run out after the second shot.
I suspect this is why people are registering more kills than required, because they're getting several kills in a string whilst on newka and only the first is registered.
I switched to power and managed to get the achievement in the next group of ants I found when I'd been wandering for hundreds of kills on newka.

I just popped this, a lot earlier than expected after reading here. I had Molerat disease and only used 3 Newka Colas and 2 Nuka Hearty's, killing only a few Gatorclaws and the rest were just the bugs and worms in Dry gulch.

I believe this achievement is affected by whether or not the active effect of the drink is actually currently working. For example, if the cola restores health and you drink it at full health any kills won't count, same for AP. So a drink like Nuka Hearty which fortifies carry weight is your best bet.

I highly recommend Nuka Hearty, they last a whopping 7 minutes each and guarantee kill counts smile

Only ants, bloodworms, brahmiluffs, cave crickets, gatorclaws and rad-rats count.

Certainly felt like I had to kill more than 40 enemies for the achievement to pop. Went through the majority of the DC under some type of effect (all except clearing the outside of the galactic zone) and still didn't get it. Finished the rest of the achievements before getting this and it still hadn't unlocked. After everything was completed except this achievement, I traveled on the outside road killing 7 enemies (started counting now) and it popped.

I think the safest bet is to kill the new nuka animals you find wondering outside the park.

Use the long lasting colas like Nuka-Cide, Nuka-Power or Nuka-Hearty. I got mine while using Nuka-Power. The achievement popped after killing either a Flying Ant Swarm or it was a slight lag on the pop from killing Brahmufflin.

After I started killing the specific creatures for the DLC, it seemed to pop around 40 for me

Working I can confirm today: 17/01/2021 - 9:57PM finally got it to pop! clap

You will notice some Mixes will have a Rad-X icon in the bottom right corner of the screen once drank. However, some recipes like Bombdrop will have a cocktail icon. Drink both so you have both icons on the screen and active effects, then run around outskirts of the map killing enemies.

*I have also completed Nuka-World DLC story.
*Avoid having companions, also I sent Gage back home anyway in the commonwealth.

Actually, having companions with you is perfectly fine as long as your under the influence of a Nuka Cola mix because their kills count towards your kill count. I had four companions with me (with a mod that allows having as many as you want, lol) and got the achievement in no time.... Well, only after I figured out that killing gazelles doesn't count towards this achievement, I guess because they're non-hostile, unlike all other Nuka World creatures, Idk.

Just unlocked it myself after ~55 kills (ants, rad-rats, and crickets being the main culprits, but there were a few bloodworms mixed in). Mainly used Nuka-Cide but for the first 5-10 I tried Newka-Cola. Took about an hour and a half because of the fact that I had completed the DLC and all of the Raider packs were hostile so I had to just run around the perimeter of the map.

ok so unless my game is glitched i can now officially confirm this is a bullshit achievement ... i went all willy nilly the first time on my rampage not paying attention but this time i marked every single kill down as follows: 8 ants, 14 blood worm things from dry gulch, 7 gatorclaws, 16 nukalurks, 2 crickets, 4 of those brahimin things not sure if they count as 12 minutes worth of video is a bit much , and a whopping 25 nukalurk spawnlings which can give me the achievement almost alone but not even including those i have 47 creatures ... all this is with newka cola 170 of them popped seconds before each encounter and an average time to kill of about 1-4 bullets on everything ...

By R3f1CuL on 31 Aug 2016 18:26
added about 20 more creatures to my total since my long update and randomly got it after killing yet another gatorclaw, my total is as follows to the letter: 11 ants of differing variety i.e flying swarms, and the different sizes, 17 blood worms, 11 gatorclaws, 16 nukalurks I.e. reg nukalurks, nukalurk hunters, kings and a queen, 8 crickets, 4 brahimin if those count, 4 gazelles if those count, 25 nukalurk spawnlings, 4 random nuka world robots if those count, and 5 apes which would make my total a possible 100 even... so either you have to get double that or literally half my kills didnt count, not sure which all done with newka cola on a hot key drank seconds before killing most enemies or groups of enemies, never went an engagement of longer then 20 or so seconds as i dont know how long they last

Okay, I just got it by running around the outskirts of the map killing mainly cave crickets. So, if you finish the game, you can still get this pretty easily. Only about 30 minutes of running around out there I got 31 I needed apparently, although I know I got way more than 9 doing the main mission...

No issues unlocking for me. I used a variety of mixes that I had leftover from the other achievement so I'm not sure exactly what worked, but it didn't seem like I had to kill way more than 40 enemies. The hardest part honestly was finding enemies because I stupidly already cleared out the park areas. So I spent like 45 mins-1 hour roaming the outskirts of the map (most of which is completely barren, thanks Bethesda). It was really annoying because there was long stretches of nothing and I would finally see red dots and they would be creatures from the original game (mirelurks, mutants, even a deathclaw). But eventually I found a few spots with groups of ants, swarms, or crickets (mostly in the southish westish portion of the map.)

If you messed up like I did and completed the DLC before attempted this you're in luck. I have found 2 different spawn locations for enemies. Simply visit, find enemies, pop a cola (Nuka Power works best) kill > return to nuka market and wait a few days then return and repeat. (Note:Enemies might not always be up, its best to check one spot then the other as 1 is usually always up, just rest a few days and try again if they are down.

This is the first spawn location it is where the marker is. There is a group of carnie traders that sometimes will appear there instead of enemies. : It will be either Crickets or Blood worms if up http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e328/melbuframa/Fallo....png

This spawn will be Ants: http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e328/melbuframa/Fallo....png

I found the easiest way to do this achievement is to try to use stuff that has effects of HP AP or carry weight because you can see the effects examples like Nuka power, Cooler xtreme got fairly easily killing bloodworms ants crickets and gator law on safari quest

By Sengark on 05 Sep 2016 02:16
One thing I found that may be happening is when part of a Nuka Mix wears off that it may not count.
I started off using Nuka Cooler. Some of Nuka Coolers affects wear off before the whole drink wears off. So if all effects for a particular drink aren't active, then possibly the counter towards the 40 Creatures stops. Something to think about.

The top comment of this youtube video states:

"For anyone who is done the DLC but doesn't have this:
Sleep several days, go to:
-Junk Yard for bloodworms/robots
-Near hubologists for blood worms/crickets/ants
-Nuka bottling plant.
-Near the mono-rail outside at the bottom has many ants in proximity.

I also recommend Nuka-cide since it has a large heal over time and increases carry weight so it Seems to have the longest duration when going for multi-kills."

I managed to find a LOT of Ants southwest of the mono-rail building, as well as a bunch of crickets west of the Nuka-Town main park (by the water).

Sitting here waiting for another Gazelle to replicate.... I had one. But now there are no more coming......

edit: so FYI it also spawns them through the entire park. Just go outside. However they seem to be finite and do not respawn. They are in some buildings though. I probably killed about 25 of them there, and got the other 15 creatures randomly around Nuka World.

Used Nuka Power, Nuka Void, and Nuka Hearty - all carrying capacity boosts, which last awhile.

I don't think the Gazelles count towards the achievement. I killed five Gazelles, six Rats, and the rest of the 40 consisted of Worms and Crickets. Upon my 40th kill I did not get the achievement. So I restarted my count at 29 since I had killed five Gazelles and six Rats (supposedly Rats don't count either) but got the achievement after I killed five more Crickets. From my results it seems like the Gazelle don't count, but I'm not saying it's 100% fact whether or not the Gazelle and Rats count I'm just throwing it out there based off of my experience.

Had trouble getting this achievement to pop. Tried several reloads using several different mixes and killing well over 40 gatorclaws, crickets, ants and bloodworms each time. Each of these tries I had the mole rat disease. Loaded an earlier save (without mole rat disease) and this achievement popped after my 40th kill. I’ve seen the comments where others had this popping while they had mole rat disease but I’m convinced this is what was causing it not to pop for me🤔

Just confirming, I got this today 07/19/2019, using Newka-Cola and Nuka-Free, I made a single run in the Dry Rock Gulch and next I hit the Gatorclaws in Safari Zone. I used just about 1 bottle for kill, since the effect doesn't last too long. I reloaded a save game because I already cleared everything and I didn't felt like running around chasing those damn bugs, with this method I was able to get the achievement in less than 30 minutes. One thing to note, the gazelles doesn't count towards this list, another tip is that it's possible to turn on and off the status indicator in the HUD, it's in the game options. It makes easier to track how long the effects of the nuka drinks are lasting.

^agreed with above. Counter or something would've been great even if it was just in game. I loaded up an old save from before I even touched The Grand Tour and I didn't get this achievement until 45 minutes to an hour after not only finishing the quest but grinding around the map. I checked my status and saw I stayed under the influence but didn't get the achievement to pop til well after 100. Counter must be glitched in some way. I was about to give up but kept going and going and finally got it around an ant hill close to where you get Nuka-Love. I'm not 100% certain what counts and what doesn't but yeah I had over 100 rounds in my gauss rifle which kills in one hit at level 80 on anything really except some bosses, and by the time I finished this it was completely spent and I had to buy a whole round of more. I feel like it'll pop at 40 for some, probably less than that for others, and well over for others. I can confirm its well over for some. There are tons in Galactic World, you can add those from safari zone, tons more in Dry Gulch and bottling plant with nukalurks. It took about 130 to get mine to pop. Also mine didn't have upper left notifications I had to go into status and hit RB to see if it was working or not.

Just to add to these other excellent solutions, I managed my 40 kills drinking only two mixes, note that I hadn't cleared the story missions so there were plenty of enemies to kill. What I used:

Nuka-Cooler (Quantum+Quartz+Victory), found out in the Galactic Zone, near the Star Control.
Nuka-Void (Dark+Quantum), found inside the Starlight Theatre, Galactic Zone. The recipe is right near the entrance, just watch out for the sentry.

I entered the Nuka Bottling Plant via the Quantum stream, ran all the way through grabbing the attention of as many Nukalurks as possible, drank the Cooler and killed everything. The Nukalurk Spawn enemies count! I then moved to the Bottling Plant exterior to find the Queens and Kings and more Spawns, was able to deal with most of these before the Cooler wore off.

After that, I went to Dry Rock Gulch, did most of the quests here before I remembered then drank the second mix (Void) as I entered Mad Mulligan's Mine. The achievement popped during the fight with the Queen at the end.

This seemed a lot more efficient than using Newka-Cola every 10 seconds or assaulting the Power Plant for the Nuka-Power recipe, but does need those story areas to get the number of enemies needed.

@xhappy munkeyx I believe the first two numbers, in this example 06 depends on how many of the dlcs you have downloaded which would be all 6. Another example is if this is the only dlc downloaded you have try 01 instead of the 06 for the final console commands.

**DO THIS AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE WHEN PLAYING THE DLC**

1. Go to Cappy Cafe in Nuka-Town USA to get the Nuka-Cide recipe.

2. Go to Nuka-Town Market and talk to Shelbie Chase. She will sell you different flavors you’ll need to craft Nuka-Cide.

3. Go to Dry Rock Gulch, drink your Nuka-Cide, and start killing.

I chose Nuka-Cide for its early accessibility; you can get it before having to clear out sections of the park. It lasts 8 minutes, so you’ll have plenty of time to get kills before the effects wear off. Just be sure the pill icon in the bottom right corner of the screen is there before killing, I don’t remember seeing a notification when the effects wore off.

I was able to get this with only 2 Nuka-Cides. Hope this helps!

For me this only unlocked when I went to an old save and did all the kills without using VATS.

Find or mix yourself some Nuka-Power or Nuka-Sunrise and kill some enemies within Nuka-World. The effects last both 8 minutes. Good to get the 40 kills are the Worms in Dry Rock Gulch. The other mixes don't work since they do not buff you.

40 Nuka-World Creatures is not that much, it sounds like much but it isn't.
You have 5 Nuka-Mix recipes unlocked from the start and can get a few rather long lasting ones from areas with enemies that don't count towards the achievement.

My recommendation is to gather all and any Nuka-Colas you find and start off by doing the Galactic Zone or the Kiddie Kingdom, as both of these do not have any enemies that count towards the achievement.
The Galactic Zone also has three Nuka-Mix recipes with rather long buff durations. It is important that the ones that only restore HP or AP also count for the achievement, as long as you have the effect from a Nuka-Mix one it counts.

After doing that make a bunch of any Nuka-Mix flavors, the longer they last the easier it is.

The next step is doing either Dry Rock Gulch or The Bottling Plant as they have many creatures to kill for the achievement, most notably the Nukalurks in The Bottling Plant, Bloodworms and Ants in Dry Rock Gulch.

It is very important that you keep an eye on the buff.

This! ALL OF THIS

1. Run into Dry Rock Gulch and grab the Nuka Sunrise Recipe and book it out of Dry Rock Gulch

2. Buy Shelbie's Stock of Nuka Cola Orange and Nuka Cherry

3. Make Nuka Sunrise

4. Grab a Weapon that can do good AOE that doesn't hurt you badly (Flamer, Melee with Big Leagues IV, Kiloton Radium/Spray n Pray) [For me it's Atom's Judgement]

5. Pop a Nuka Sunrise and Start Smashing Bugs

You should get the achievement by the time you complete the Quest "High noon at the Gulch" if you actively search out the Bloodbugs and Ants. HOWEVER, If you don't have it yet, Take a trip to the Safari Adventure where you can kill Gatorclaws. always remember to pop a Nuka-Sunrise if you no longer under the effects of Nuka-Sunrise

This is a tag-on for the other guides. I don't care about that one dude over there that said he got the achievement while infected with molerat disease. He's either lucky or a dog-faced pony soldier and I'll dip him in a vat of mayo and close the lid if he wants to catch these hands!

The quest in Vault 81 has you look for a cure to molerat disease for some kid, and if you so much as breathe too hard in that quest you'll get infected too. The end of the quest presents a moral dilemma where you heal the kid or heal yourself with the only cure.

If you didn't use it on yourself, you will permanently have molerat disease which lowers your hp by 10. It's not a big deal, except for the fact that I am 97% SURE that this permanent debuff is somehow interfering with this achievement's ability to track if you drank Nuka before a kill.

I have reloaded my save to before I started the DLC, random points within the DLC, and also during my main save, I can comfortably say that I've slain over 200 of these creatures IMMEDIATELY after downing a crafted nuka. I have every other achievement in the game. Since I don't have a save prior to contracting molerat disease, I now have no choice but to make a fresh save, grind to level 30 (which is the minimum to enter Nuka-World), and enter the DLC again!

I will let you guys know if the achievement pops properly after a totally unnecessary and unfair time-sink.

TL;DR THIS CHEEVO IS CLOSE TO, or IMPOSSIBLE TO GET IF YOU HAVE MOLERAT DISEASE!

You need to kill creatures found only in Nuka-World whilst being buffed by a Nuka-Mix. See Beverageer for more information on Nuka-Mixes.

Seeing as most Nuka-Mixes don't last very long, I recommend assigning a Nuka-Mix to a quick-menu slot (whilst selecting an item in the Inventory screen, press to assign it). Once an enemy is almost dead, consume a Nuka-Mix and finish off said enemy. Afterwards quickly open the Pipboy, go to the "Status" tab and press to doublecheck if you are still under the effects of a Nuka-Mix. If you use the above tip, I recommend dismissing any companions whilst going for this trophy.

For a full list of new creatures see this Fallout Wiki link: LINK

Before working on this achievement, you'll want to stock up on a few Nuka-Mix flavors, preferably those which have the longest lasting effects: Nuka-Ray, Nuka-Power and Nuka-Punch. Please refer back to "Beverageer" for information on how to find and craft these variants.

With a decent stock of the aforementioned flavors on hand, head out into the wastelands surrounding the park - or continue on with the story quests if you have not yet completed the narrative - and begin hunting down Nuka-World Creatures. Such creatures include, but are not limited to, Painted Ghouls, Rad Rats, Gatorclaws, Bloodworms, Cave Crickets, Forager Ants, Gazelles, and Brahmiluffs.

Before engaging in combat with a Creature, just chug your Nuka-Mix drink and proceed with the killing. If you want to check if the drink's effect is still active, you can pull up your Pip Boy and enter the "STATUS" tab of the "STATS" menu.

This achievement will unlock after killing forty Creatures while under the effects of a Nuka-Mix drink. As a recommendation, you should work on this on during the story itself, especially during "The Grand Tour," as farming Creatures post-narrative takes significantly longer and is much more tedious of a process.

See Beverageer (10G) for how to get a Nuka-Mix flavor. Once you have got that achievement, you'll have 20 mixes to choose from. Drink one or a few so you have the effect active on your character, then do the following:

  • "tgm" (god mode and unlimited ammo)
  • "player.additem 0021A53E" (equip the Big Boy weapon)
  • "player.placeatme 0400C609 40" (40 rats spawn)
  • Shoot the Big Boy into the ground at your feet to kill all the rats.

It's best to use Nuka-Power. Video for clarity:

To get the trophy with the least effort, I advise you not to go to the cowboy area until you have collected enough bottles. There are 30+ creatures in this zone (on the street and in the mine). Clear it and you'll only have to kill a few creatures for the trophy.

The hint from playerroman is not correct. The trophy dropped when I killed a rat in the location. They also wrote in other places that not all new colas are counted - I think this was a bug before. When the trophy dropped while under the influence of Nuka-sunrise and Nuka-Void

The trophy came out when I killed a mouse vole near a power plant, also after completely clearing the local swamps of all evil spirits, the mobs recovered in a couple of days, bought some cartridges, returned and extinguished a new batch of crickets, ants and mice. I used Nuclear Power, 4 bottles were enough, for crafting you need two dark and one regular Nuka Cola, sold at the local market, if out of stock, wait for a new batch on a chair nearby for 48 hours.

In order not to bother at all with this trophy, make a trophy for 20 types of cola before you start capturing the park so that you don’t have to wander around the fields and look for ants and crickets. Fortunately, that trophy is not so complicated, I wrote everything in the tooltip for it.
After we've had enough cola, we go to Safari and Canyon. There are a lot of living creatures there, especially in the canyon in the carcasses of cows
Keep in mind that not all colas have the same duration. Look in your profile, click Effective effects.

To get an achievement, any drink mixed in a mixing machine is enough. I drank everything and looked for a “pill” or “glass” icon in the lower right corner. This means that you are under the influence of one or another drug. I went to the swamp and then to the power plant and to the dam in the north. I destroyed everyone and the trophy fell out in 20 minutes.
