How to unlock the Beverageer achievement in Fallout 4 - Definitive Guide

All solutions above are good I myself used one for finding all the recipes unfortunely they do not include some information I was looking for. So here it is:

After collecting all the recipes you need to collect all the requirements for 20 new flavors.

N-C=Nuka-Cola

#1 Newka-Cola (Nuka-Cherry x1, N-C x1)
#2 Nuka-Berry (Nuka-Cherry x1, N-C x1, Nuka-Grape x1)
#3 Nuka-Bombdrop (Bourbon x1, N-C x1, N-C Dark x1, Rum x1, Vodka x1)
#4 Nuka-Buzz (N-C Wild x2)
#5 Nuka-Cide (Nuka-Cherry x1, N-C x1, N-C Dark x1, N-C Orange x1, N-C Quantum x1, N-C Quartz x1, N-C Victory x1, N-C Wild x1, Nuka-Grape x1)
#6 Nuka-Cooler (N-C Quantum x1, N-C Quartz x1, N-C Victory x1)
#7 Nuka-Fancy (Nuka-Cherry x1, N-C Wild x1)
#8 Nuka-Free (Dirty Water x1, N-C x1)
#9 Nuka-Frutti (Nuka-Cherry x1, N-C x1, N-C Orange x1, Nuka-Grape x1)
#10 Nuka-Hearty (Carrot Flower x1, N-C x1, N-C Dark x1, Tato x1)
#11 Nuka-Lixir (Med-X x1, N-C x1, N-C Orange x1)
#12 Nuka-Love (Nuka-Cherry x1, N-C Quartz x1)
#13 Nuka-Power (N-C x1, N-C Dark x2)
#14 Nuka-Punch (Nuka-Cherry x1, N-C Orange x1, N-C Quartz x1, Nuka-Grape x1)
#15 Nuka-Ray (N-C Orange x1, N-C Victory x1)
#16 Nuka-Rush (N-C Victory x1, N-C Wild x1)
#17 Nuka-Sunrise (Nuka-Cherry x1, N-C Orange x1)
#18 Nuka-Twin (N-C x1, N-C Wild x1)
#19 Nuka-Void (N-C Dark x1, N-C Quantum x1)
#20 Nuka-Xtreme (N-C x1, N-C Quantum x1, Nuka-Grape x1)

That is overall:

Nuka-Cola: 11
Nuka-Cherry: 8
Nuka-Cola Dark: 6
Nuka-Cola Wild: 6
Nuka-Cola Orange: 6
Nuka-Grape: 5
Nuka-Cola Quantum: 4
Nuka-Cola Quartz: 4
Nuka-Cola Victory: 4
Dirty Water: 1
Bourbon: 1
Rum: 1
Vodka: 1
Med-X: 1
Carrot Flower: 1
Tato: 1

You can get all the Colas from a Vendor in Nuka-World Market called Shelbie Chase also pickup all Colas from behind her and basically you can pickup everything in there it will not be considered stealing. Once you have it simply fast travel anywhere** (can be in Nuka-World)* and sleep for 24hours. Get back to her and store is refilled. I personally used "Safari Adventure Primate House" it's on top left corner enter building and in a cage to your right is a bed in which you can sleep.

*If for some reason sleeping 24 hours in Nuka-World do not work just do that in commonwealth.
**EDIT: You don't have to fast travel away, simply sit on the chair next to Shelbie and wait for 24 hours.

How to get the rest:

I believe most of you will have all alcohol required if not simply go to any bar or check other vendors in Nuka-Market they sell some of that too or use Diamond City Market in commonwealth where you can get practically everything (Dirty Water, Med-X, alcohol). For some reason I had no RUM and was unable to find it anywhere nobody had it in a store. Easy place to get a RUM is in commonwealth. Fast travel to commonwealth and then fast travel to Fort Strong. Go pass the building, jump down the cliff and it will be in a box with teddybear.

Rum:

Carrot Flower:

Commonwealth, fast travel to Wildwood Cemetery and you will find at least one growing near the graves.

Tato:

Commonwealth, fast travel to Abernathy Farm and they are growing all over the place.

Once you get all the stuff you need to find/build a Nuka-Mixer Station in any settlement you control, if you don't want to build it you can use any in Nuka World.

Nuka-Mixer Station: Workshop->Crafting->Nuka-Mixer Station. (steel x4, Rubber x1).

Here is one posible location in Nuka-World in Kiddie Kingdom.

Got any idea how to improve solution, like or dislike it? Feel free to share your comment.

Perfect guide, thank you. It was a big help. Couldn't find rum anywhere. One thing to add, your overall list is missing med-x. Thanks again.

Rum - A bottle of rum can be found in a refrigerator in the downstairs pantry of the Cabot House, and it re-spawns. You can also find Bourbon, Whiskey, Vodka, and Wine...an alcoholics paradise!

If you, like me, can't find Nuka-Xtreme between the buildings using the Power Suit trick, try the same trick from the ladder on the roof. Use this video (not mine, kudos to the author): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tya9UMiZKZI

Yeah RUM is very scarce, hope you have it stashed in one of your settlements. Also Nuka-Orange is limiting me at the moment.
Wiki said "get N-Orange from arcade rewards too".

Much east from Cola-Cars arena, there is a museum, that gives you one RUM. It's rare and needed for this achievement.

^ I was just here to say this. Yes you should note that you will have to come across a bottle of rum while going for the Nuka-Punch recipe in the Grandchester Mystery Mansion. While taking the tour you'll come to a certain individual's bedroom, the bottle of rum is found here on top of a white suitcase.

Nice work :)

Another location for carrot flower. Directly south of the Galactic Zone is a little hut by the river that is full of cave crickets. The tiny hill in front of the hut has carrot flowers.

For you to be trying to unlock the achievement in 2021, just have all the ingredients together in their total quantities, in that, make all Nukes glues at once, and the achievement will fall.

The power armour glitch is still working I am able to get in the wall where the Nuka-Xtreme book is but I’m not able to pick it up? My book seems to be stuck on the roof rather than the floor and it just moves around the roof rather than coming out from behind the yellow containers?

Nuka-Xtreme was missing for me as well, but the grenade/rocket explosions did not work. Bad luck I guess. So anyone else trying, realize it's a crap shoot. Thanks for the piece of crap DLC Bethesda, next time don't rush it out before important bugs are fixed. (ps, an update dropped this evening, but did not fix this. Hopefully it fixed some of the other bugs?????)

for nuka ray, you should point out to keep watching, I looked on the floor where they showed then paused and started looking around to see if I had thrown it out of position with my explosive shells. After I searched all over, started picking up everything to see, found it on the shelf, then start playing video again for them to start talking about the shelf.

For Nuka Power instead of that long winding path you can just use your jet-pack as soon as you enter the power plant and the end is right there above and slightly to the right of where you entered. Nice guide cheers!

anyways you need expert level lock (or just bring Cait with you) for Sunrise.

edit: nevermind, you can also grab the key from the toolbox on the roof near where you get nuka-xtreme. go down to the slightly lower roof and by the ramp it's right there.

Nuka xtreme was missing for me as well. After reading through some other forums it seems the roof where it is supposed to be is glitched and if it falls from that table it's stuck in roof purgatory. So I went to the room below and blasted the ceiling with a missile launcher - and voila - the recipe was right outside the door on the ground floor. Hope this helps - maybe I just got lucky - but it's worth a shot!

HangmanK7 method works. I used a grenade, threw it right between the top of the yellow thing in the corner and the wall. After the grenade exploded the recipe was on the ground outside the door.

Note: I did try with an explosive gun (Explosive hunting rifle) and that did not work. Seems you need a heavy explosion. Hopefully this can be confirmed to work for more than 2 people as that will turn this from a coincidence to a pattern.

Update

I tested this method 2 more times for a total of 3 times. Every time the grenade was on top of the yellow bin(?) in the left corner and underneath the roof, Nuka-Xtreme recipe was lying on the floor outside near the Nuka-Cola mascot thing.

The room you need to go to, to throw your grenade or shoot with a missle is the room with the Nuka-Sunrise Recipe.

@RizzJusVibin Yes, you do. Also, you don't have to go to Nuka World to do this. You can just build the mixer station at Sanctuary and go from there with the codes.

The Nuka Cola Mixer is located under Crafting on the Workshop menu in case that helps anyone since you can just build it wherever instead of going to the DLC location.

Yet another solution for the Nuka-Xtreme recipe book "lost in the wall" glitch. In this video I use the power armour clipping trick.

BEFORE ATTEMPTING THIS METHOD MAKE A SAVE!

To earn the Beverageer achievement in the Nuka-World DLC you need to create 20 different flavours of Nuka-Cola and this requires you to find 15 recipe books scattered across the Nuka-World map. As too many people are discovering, the Nuka-Xtreme recipe book which is supposed to be found on a table near the flagpole you use to designate which faction takes control of Dry Rock Gulch. However, due to terrible programming, when you arrive to collect the book you often discover that it has fallen through the world geometry into the wall and is inaccessible.

In this video I begin by showing the location it is supposed to be found then I show how using power armour you can clip into the wall to get it. It will not work for everyone, because it might have fallen to a location out of reach, but I hope it helps for some.

- Whilst wearing the power armour jump on the wall/railing as shown around 0:20.
- Press Back to go into 3rd person and face the wall.
- Hold the left trigger to aim; the character will crouch and clip slightly into the wall.
- Press and hold A (exit power armour) and immediately use the right analogue stick (camera) to spin around so that you are looking away from the wall.
- The character will now enter the exit animation and exit into the wall behind him/her.
- Carefully rotate the camera so that you look into the wall and edge forward slowly, looking up and down to find the book.
- After you've grabbed the book move forward and to the right to get out of the wall and drop down.
- Go back up and collect your power armour.

It should be noted that the book could be higher up or lower down.
The spinning/exit trick can take a bit to figure out.
If you get stuck then you can fast travel back to this location, but if you can't recover your power armour then you might need to revert to the save you made.

I hope this helps.

@Goggs25 and Nathan Dewey on my YouTube channel both commented that they had to revert to a previous save, but after that it worked for them. So if it's not working for you it's worth a shot. Good luck!

One day Bethesda will pay for the crimes committed against gamers with their game breaking glitches. This has been known about since September 2016 and they've still not patched it (as of January 2017).

@Goggs25: That's great to hear you finally got it. Nathan Dewey made a comment on my YouTube channel that he also had to revert to a previous save and it worked for him. I'll add that to the solution. Thanks for the feedback and sorry for the late reply; somehow I missed it.

I'm sorry to hear that. As if the bug itself isn't annoying enough, to be so close and still not be able to grab it.

It might be worth trying to throw a grenade around or near it to see if you can move it slightly. I've not got the pray'n'spray weapon (I think that's what it is called), but I believe that some people using other solutions have made use of it to move the book.

I hope you figure it out.

If you are having trouble finding the Nuka-Xtreme Recipe . Here's a video explaining how to obtain it!

I do not own this video.

Make sure you read the description for more details. It may take a couple tries, but it's simple and works.

Here's another solution for those, like me, who are in trouble with the Nuka-Xtreme recipe.

Just like in the video, I used the Spray-n-pray, but with a lot more ammos ! But it works.

Credits go to the owner of the video.

I'm not one for video guides (as some aren't):

https://www.ign.com/wikis/fallout-4/Nuka_Cola_Recipe_Locatio...

I didn't have an issue with X-Treme; but, with Nuka Cooler. This guy's video worked perfectly. My book was two levels below the yellow rack. Luckily, I was able to get it and exit out of the glitch through the broken door behind you as you're facing the rack (there is a nuka bottle statue next to the door).

GLITCHED

There have been reports that recipes haven't been found at their respective places, haven fallen down or even through the map/walls. There's a chance this is caused by using explosive weapons in their vicinity so I would advise to avoid using those as much as possible. If you get unlucky and a recipe book does fall through the map, then give this trick a try: LINK

There are a total of 20 "Nuka-Mixes" and you need to create them all. You can create a mix at a (red) "Nuka-Mixing Station" which resembles a soda-fountain. These stations can be found near the entrance of the Safari Adventure and in the southern area of Dry Rock Gulch. You can also craft one yourself using a Workshop.

Important! You start off with 5 recipes and need to find the other 15 before you can create the associated Nuka-Mix. See the following video for a locations Guide (credit to PS4Trophies for this):

For a full list and required ingredients, see here: LINK.

Furthermore, see Ashbo82's post for tips regarding finding the rare items Rum and Carrot Flower: LINK

In total, there are exactly twenty different flavors of Nuka-Cola. The variants can be made at any Nuka-Mix machine found within the different zones of the park (i.e. Safari Adventure, Galaxy Zone, etc.). You will automatically start with the following five flavors:

  • Newka-Cola
  • Nuka-Buzz
  • Nuka-Fancy
  • Nuka-Free
  • Nuka-Twin

The remaining fifteen flavors must be found throughout the open world via their lootable recipe books. These books, like any collectible, are unmarked and well hidden throughout the entire park. They are blue in appearance, so keep your eyes peeled while exploring the interiors and exteriors of each zone.

Once all of the recipes have been collected, you can head over to any Nuka-Mix machine and begin crafting the drinks. Take note that most of the materials needed to craft each drink can be purchased from Shelbie Chase in the Nuka-Town Market.

Feel free to utilize the checklist and video guide below for help in finding the recipe books. Thanks, GamerRanx & Indecisive Prophecy!

  • Nuka-Cide: Nuka-Town USA, Cappy’s Cafe
    • Found in the backroom office behind the trader counter.
  • Nuka-Punch: Grandchester Mystery Mansion
    • Located at the end of the tour, where you’ll encounter the Gunner boss. It's sitting on a bureau with a yellow lamp.
  • Nuka-Rush: Safari Adventure, Welcome Center
    • Located on the reception desk down the steps from the entrance.
  • Nuka-Xtreme: Dry Rock Gulch, Theater
    • Up on the rooftop with the flag where you’ll claim the park for one of the Raider gangs; look on the small table next to the sitting corpse.
  • Nuka-Void: Galactic Zone, Starlight Interstellar Theater
    • Can be found on the counter in the main theater area where the Sentry Bot is stationed.
  • Nuka-Cooler: Galactic Zone, Star Market
    • Enter Star Market from the Star Control square. Just as you enter, turn left and look in the first shop; the recipe is on the book display case.
  • Nuka-Ray: Galactic Zone, RobCo Battlezone
    • Located on the ground or on the shelves in the gift shop underneath the bleachers.
  • Nuka-Berry: Kiddie Kingdom, King Cola’s Castle
    • Located in the dressing room backstage, on a counter beneath a lit mirror.
  • Nuka-Power: Nuka-World Power Plant
    • Found in a large suspended office with a billiard table near the roof hatch. Look on the skeleton’s desk.
  • Nuka-Frutti: Hubologist’s Camp
    • Found in the main diner camp area, on a booth table.
  • Nuka-Bombdrop: Dry Rock Gulch, Mad Mulligan’s Mine (Exterior)
    • Look on the Nuka-themed food cart to the left of the Minecart ride, between the Bandit Roundup game.
  • Nuka-Sunrise: Dry Rock Gulch
    • Crack the Expert lock on the exterior red door found to the right of the Theater.
  • Nuka-Lixir: Kiddie Kingdom, Fun House
    • Complete the Fun House to access the Employees Only tunnels. Go to the computer terminal overlooking the two spinning platforms to find the recipe book.
  • Nuka-Hearty: Safari Adventure, Jungle Journey Theater
    • Go to the shack found behind the theater stage; it's located on a shelf to the right once you open the shack door.
  • Nuka-Love: Evan’s Home
    • This scavenger is located south of Nuka-Station. Talk to him and he’ll offer supplies. Agree to take them for a recipe reward.

Make sure you loot the dev room inside "coc qasmoke" first as this will give you all the recipes to do this achievement. However, you need to be at specific sections of a quest to properly obtain the ability to use the recipes. So you'll need to enter "setstage DLC04NukaSodas XX" where XX = increments of 10. So type it onces as "setstage DLC04NukaSodas 10" and then a second time with "setstage DLC04NukaSodas 20" and so on, all the way up to 150, so a total of 15 commands.

Now that you have all the recipes and the ability to craft them, we'll need the ingredients. Using "player.additem X" where X is the item ID. You can find the pages for each ingredient HERE. You'll need Nuka-Cola x11, Nuka-Cherry x8, Nuka-Cola Dark x6, Nuka-Cola Wild x6, Nuka-Cola Orange x6, Nuka-Grape x5,  Nuka-Cola Quantum x4, Nuka-Cola Quartz x4, and Nuka-Cola Victory x4.

Alright, final step. Craft a Nuka-Mixer Station in one of the game's settlements and run down the list making all 20 of the variations of Nuka-Cola available.

I’ll summarize the ingredients so as not to rush around locations and frantically collect swill. for example, I had 80 quantum stakes All you need is:
8 Yader-Cherry
11 Yader-Cola
6 Wild Yader-Cola
1 Bourbon
1 Vodka
1 Rum
6 Dark Yader-Cola
4 Quantum Yader-Cola
4 Quartz Yader-Cola
4 Yader-Cola Victory
1 Med-X
6 Yader-Orange
1 Dirty water
1 Toshka
1 carrot flower
5 Yader-Vinograd

I will also add that a lot can be bought/taken on the market. Also, in the lair of one of the gangs (in such a restaurant), there are two Coke machines in the lobby. The bottles are constantly updated there. For example, I went to get a quest, picked up a cola, ran away to quickly do the quest, came back and the bottles were renewed.

The most problematic resources for me were rum and carrot flower. Rum can be found, for example, in the basement of the Cabot house (located in northeast Boston), and the carrot flower is located just north of Sanctuary (we walk along the bridge and then head north until we see the coveted flower).

There are only 15 recipes that need to be collected, here is a visual video, we collect 15 recipes, collect full bags of all different colas and go to one of the mixers in the park, brew 20 different ones and the trophy is ours. Ps I don’t envy those who sold it.

Rum lies in the Grandchester mansion on the floor in a room on the second floor, where grenades are suspended from the ceiling (after the Protectron and the Assaultron). You will find yourself in this location for the sake of the recipe, so the simplest thing, as it seems to me, is not to return to the Commonwealth.

To create a Nuclear Bomb, you need Rum, a fairly rare drink for the Fallout world. You can find it in the basement of the Cabot house, in the refrigerator.

If someone has sold all the cola and does not have any cola needed for crafting, then sleep for a couple of days and check the refrigerators with cola (near the entrance to NukaWorld, in the cafe), you can also exchange the won tickets in Nuka-Cade. If that cola is not enough, then sleep for 3 days, return to Nuka-Cade, the list will be updated there.

Where to look for rum:
At the Cabot house.
On the flight deck of Prydwen.
In the basement of the Central Boston Polytechnic School.
In one of the destroyed houses in the swamp, which are located south of the Shooters Building
Also, obviously, in the Nuka World add-on itself, there is this rum. For example, in the "Mysterious Grantchester Mansion" which is located in the southwest of the map. On the second floor in a room with hanging grenades, on the floor...

Alcohol can be fake. I collected vodka and rum for the “bomb”, bourbon, but it was put aside in the trash section. I went through the sites and found some information. In short, normal booze is put into the “help” section, and empty bottles are put into “trash”. I found vodka in the Wixon Shovel Museum. This is a location in Nuka-World.

The trophy is buggy, although not for everyone. There is this video online: Nuka-Xtreme I couldn’t get into the textures. I had to load an old save: “Exitsave”, which appears automatically for everyone when visiting Yader-Mir for the first time. We immediately run for the book “Extreme”, it should be there. This is for those who have a glitch, and for those who have not yet started collecting recipes, I advise you to start with this book.

To check which recipe is missing, you can switch the system language to English and use the guide from the tip above. Unfortunately, it was not possible to find a normal translation list on the Internet.

Game version 1.14. The first time I came to the “Dry Gorge”, went into the theater, taking the first recipe on the bedside table (I didn’t know about the recipe for extreme nuclei at that time), then I walked along the monorail to the top, and at that time Gage was soaking bloodworms. When I went down the wall to that very roof, there was no recipe there. I spent half a day looking for clues, the second half of the day I tried to get into the texture where the recipe was. The second time I entered the game from a different save, I reopened the “Dry Gorge” location, and the extreme core was on the roof along with cartridges and Victory.
Not sure if the bug has been fixed. I think you need to immediately go for the recipe when you find yourself in the gorge, or load the save until it is there.

In addition to the extreme cores, the Nuka-Cooler abyss (breather cores) can also glitch. To find it, follow this glitch -> POKE and look around carefully. For me this issue was well hidden under the textures. For those who do not understand English, a short explanation of this bug: You need to put on power armor (its frame is enough), go to the indicated place, stand in a position where you can remove the armor and hold down the remove armor button. At the moment when the armor begins to be removed, you need to turn sharply in the right direction.
