How to unlock the Homerun! achievement in Fallout 4 - Definitive Guide


Once you get to Diamond City, you will see a small market inside the statium. If you look down you can see the starting point for the homerun on the ground. Turn right run over the other 3 bases around the market.

Make sure to step on all of them so they register and finish at your home base again to unlock this achievement.

Yeah for some reason it never told me I unlocked this. Every time I traveled to Diamond City I tried it again and it would never unlock, it was driving me crazy! I face-palmed when I checked my achievements only to find it stealth unlocked.

I unlocked this just walking (I was making sure I knew the route before running it ) I did, however, look straight down as I went over each plate to make sure I stepped on them all.

I can confirm that you can not be wearing power armour while doing it. I ran it while in PA and no achievement (I am certain I walked over all of them). Tried again without armour and pop there was the achievement.

I have the same problem, dont unlock.
+New Save (new game) nothing
+Remove profile (recover) and start new game, nothing

This is a pain!

I don’t know why everyone else is having problems but I got it to work on Xbox series X. Might’ve been cause I was holding a baseball bat but it might also require you to do it in a certain amount of time tho. Good luck to everyone trying to get it.

What makes you believe that naming the system you're playing on is somehow relevant? I have done this achievement nearly 30 times (on three different platforms) since the game came out and it always worked. You simply didn't do it the right way.

This achievement is bugged on Xbox Series X and does not unlock.

Edit: I was able to get this to unlock by starting a brand new game and going straight to Diamond City once I was out of the Vault, going straight for home plate and then running the bases. Not sure how my original save bugged out on it but I wasn't doing anything different - no mods, no power armor - the only thing I could think of that was different between the OG save and the new save was that I had a companion in the new save.

This achievement is attained inside of Diamond City, which is accessed relatively early on in the main story quest line. You'll notice that Diamond City is a baseball stadium and you'll see a small home plate just at the base of the stairs from where you enter. From the home base, run to first base, then second, then third, and back to home in order to "Get a Homerun", and the achievement will unlock. Note that the bases are numbered and marked as well.

Anyone know how to move faster? I'm moving at a snails pace in this game and makes this achievement attempt ~5 minutes a go.

Hampshire, Either you're overencumbered or you're not running. If you're not overencumbered, use C to run while moving forward.

Hampshire, if your going straight there from the beginning of the game, you won't have any of your weapons or pip boy or anything yet.
So if anyone has issues, play through until your out of vault 111 and in the commonwealth itself.
By then you should have the ability to sprint, walk fast, shoot etc etc.
BTW, to sprint hold the shift button in whatever direction your going :)

That area looks nothing like mine when I used the command I assume it's because there's progression made or a settlement has been done. I even stood on the same part as the video.

@DD91 you have to go through the massive gate in front of you. 'tcl' didn't work for me but trying the gate and then having a quick conversation with the woman outside got the gate open. Go through the small gate and you will be in the correct area!

-Achievement took 10-15 seconds to pop so be patient after crossing the final base

-I talked to Piper near the Big Green gate and then used tcl to go thru and waited, eventually the gate opened. Not sure if this is a necessary step.

It’s a slow popper but i did it as soon as Diamond City was mentioned. Spoke to security npc (one holding baseball bat) until he tells me about the bases (not sure if that is necessary but he does give several map updates) then just ran around the bases, job done!
(Xbox version….. no matter what i do its not popping)

It's as easy as it can be. As soon as you reach Diamond City, you'll notice that Diamond City is inside a Baseball Stadium. You just need to find the Home Plate, which is located right in front of you when you enter Diamond City Market. From there just turn right and folly the Bases (I, II, III) and complete the Homerun back on the Home Plate. I made a video so you can see:

Easy trophy that you can earn as soon as you get to Diamond City, all you have to do is run the bases counter-clockwise, with the home plate being directly in front of you when you arrive. Just imagine you're running the bases in baseball, and make sure to touch all four bases (home, first, second, third, home again) in one go.

when you enter diamond city outside the newspaper building, you'll see a home plate, step on it and head right, stepping on the other bases and finish back where you started, just make sur you step on them.

Diamond City being built in a baseball stadium, you can notice the white squares known as bases lying around.

The first one is just at the bottom of the stairs when you access Diamond City Market.

To complete the achievements, just run through all the bases around the town and back to the first one to complete your Home Run !

To get a Homerun you need to travel to Diamond City Market. For a map location, please refer to the following image:

Once there you want to step on the starting point you see on the floor in front of you. Now run to the first base on the right, then the second base, then the third, then back to where you started. Just like a Homerun in Baseball (Diamond City Market is situated in what was the Fenway Baseball Stadium). If you are having trouble finding the bases, you can watch a visual walkthrough in the following video:

To unlock this trophy, you’ll need to run the bases like they do in the American pastime of Baseball. Once you return to the home base outside of Super Salon, you’ll unlock the trophy.

Para obter essa conquista, você precisará percorrer as quatro bases em Diamond City em ordem e fazer um "Homerun". Assim que chegar a Diamond City, você verá um pequeno mercado dentro do estádio. This achievement can be earned fairly early on in your playthrough. In Diamond City Market, there are four base plates scattered around the market grounds. Starting at the “home base plate” near the entrance of town, you need to make sure way around the market counterclockwise, stepping over first base, second base, and third base in the process. Think of it like the game of baseball.

Once you return back to home base and step over the plate, the achievement will unlock. Refer to the video below for a visual guide on where each base plate is located.

This is obtained by running the bases inside Diamond City. Use "coc DiamondCityExt" to warp there, then follow the path in the video below.

It is not necessary to run, especially since to continuously run such a distance you need to pump up your AP. It's enough to walk on foot.
I got the trophy by walking and clearly crossing the bases.

When descending to Diamond City, find on the ground a rubber mat with the sign of this city. The mat will be directed to 1 of the streets of the city. Along the way you will find a white square with the number 1 on the ground. After walking a little more there will be 2, and behind it the 3rd square. After going all the way, return to the original rubber mat. 5-10 seconds and the achievement will come
