How to unlock the Taken for a Ride achievement in Fallout 4 - Definitive Guide

This achievement is story-related and umissable. It will most likely be your first DLC-related achievement.

I will provide you with a rough walkthrough for this achievement. Since it is a story related achievement, I'll put everything in SPOILER brackets

Me too This never appear registered for me "Nuka-World" DLC. I tried uninstalled and installed it again. nothing. as Repeated. still nothing. unbelievable!! Glitch!!! Sucks

Glitchy AF, make a save when you talk to Gage through the glass and reload until you get it. Took me 3 tries.

Still having issues with this one, tried the suggestion above loaded 30 times, not popping.. any ideas?

This DLC quest can be quickly completed using console commands as long as you own the DLC. If you don't own the DLC you will need to buy it or it won't work.

To open the console commands use the tilde ~ key (button to the left of the 1 key on your keyboard).

Type: setstage DLC04MQ01 1000

The achievement will unlock afterwards. Sometimes it takes a few seconds.

Second Quest on the Nuka World DLC. Available after "All Aboard".

Just fight your way through the gauntlet. Kill Overboss Colter with the Thirst Zipper (that's the little squirt gun in the room just before you enter the arena). Whenever you see the suit sparking with electricity, "squirt" Colter a bit with the gun. Once you've hit him, you have a small time window to deal damage. Repeat until he's dead.
Speak with Gage and the quest is completed.

This achievement will unlock after running the Gauntlet and defeating the Raider Overboss within the Arena during "Taken for a Ride."
