How to unlock the Dressed to win achievement in Fantastic Pets - Definitive Guide

There are two options that you can use for getting this achievement:

Option 1: You can actually play on Saturday or...

Option 2: Disconnect your console from the internet or go offline and change the date (under Console Settings>Date & Time) to any date that falls on a Saturday.

Now, choose the pet that you want and go to the 'Pet Database' in the smart phone. Scroll across the options for "Fantastic Pet" and then pick any outfit from the DLC, it will look like a globe with a green arrow. Play the Saturday Talent Show wearing the outfit and win gold overall. Achievement will unlock after the auto-save following the results page.

Note: You do not have to get gold in all five events, just average gold overall. Also for some reason I managed to win this on Sunday (about 8AM EST US), I'm not sure if this is a glitch (good glitch...that's refreshing) or something to do with the time zone.

I think it is a glitch. Mine unlocked on Monday. Seems to be a lot of glitches with this game...

What does it mean by outfit, I had my pet with wings from the DLC and I won the Saturday talent show and the achievement didnt unlock.

I'm not really sure, CRAZE. This game is really hit or miss with achievements. If you have the DLC costumes, switch them out and try again. The DLC costumes have a globe and an arrow in the corner, I think. I apologize...it's been a while since I've played.

Just had mine unlock on a Thursday talent show win while online. Used the Lizard DLC #1 costume.

By "costume" it means you cannot use the wings from the DLC, as I initially thought. You have to scroll down to the option all the way to the right, which is "Fantastic Pets" and choose a FULL COSTUME. Then the achievement will unlock once you win a Talent Show. You do say that in the solution, but just wanted to make it a little more clear, as I thought it was glitched negatively.

First you either need to play on Saturday or go offline and change the system date to Saturday. Pick any pet you like and go to the "Pet database" in your smart phone menu. Choose the option for "Fantastic Pet" and then pick any outfit with the DLC symbol on it (a globe with a downward facing green arrow). Now go and play the daily talent show and win the overall gold medal and the achievement unlocks at the results screen.
