How to unlock the Seafarer achievement in FAR: Changing Tides - Definitive Guide

This achievement will be immediately after installing the boost upgrade.
1. Install the boost upgrade.
2. Start the fire to power the boat.
3. Get the gauge in the blue and keep it there.
4. Make sure the fuel doesn't run out, or it will disrupt what you're doing.
5. Your engine WILL overheat, so water it down to cool it.
6. When the blue has fully charged, a button at the top front of the inside of the boat will pop out. Push it.
7. This will push the boat, and the gate will open.

Weird, this one didn't unlock for me. Guess I'll try the checkpoint after I first this playthrough.

Story-related and cannot be missed
Once you install the boost cylinder at the damn, you will just need to use it for the first time to push past the boat blocking your path and through the gate to receive this trophy.
After passing through this gate, you have the option of sailing on top of the water with barely any wind at your sail, or you can submerge and use your new boost mechanic to accumulate some meters of distance for Full Steam Ahead
and Submariner 
. Taking the underwater route is a much better option and will be worth it for the trophy progress and the visuals you may miss if you stay afloat.
