Getting a lot of comments about this achievement unlocking after several more maps than 25 rated. The impression I am getting is it will unlock, it just may take longer than expected.

Download 25 user made maps. Create a custom game. Go to the maplist screen and go to the bottom. Add 15 of the maps you downloaded (15 is the maplist limit). Now you can either invite friends and play the maps or do a private match and get a feel for them. If you are in a hurry, you can go to the pause screen and start a vote to end the match. On the results screen you should see on the lower right a thing that says hit Y to rate map. Do so.

P.S. If you are playing by yourself or are rushing through by voting to end the match, at least explore the map and get a feel as to whether it is a quality map or not. Not really playing a map is going to skew your view of whether it is good or not; not even getting a remote feeling for it will be worse. It is really uncool to vote on the quality of a map if you know nothing about it.

It worked perfectly.

this achievement can be very easy. just go to map community and downlaod 25 user maps (take small maps, they don't take that much time). and make a list of the maps you played and rated and the maps you still have to play.

then set up a private match with max 2 and min 1 and select 15 of the 25 maps.

the start. when a map starts just cancel the match then press Y to rate. then next map. do this untill the 15th map.

Then quit and start a new private match with the ten other maps you have downloaded. do the same steps.

after all this the acievement should have unlocked
(got it on my first try, no glitches)

Since it no longer seems to be possible to download community maps here's an alternative way of getting this achievement

Please Note: You will need xbox360 and 2 accounts (I do believe both accounts need to be gold to access multiplayer features)

Start by logging into your dummy account and making a community map as detailed in:

Make sure to save it to your Hard Drive, it won't work if the map is saved on cloud. If you have more maps on your hard drive call this something unique that way you can easily find it.

Next, login into your main account, the one that will be getting this achievement. On the xbox360 dashboard go into Settings -> System -> Storage -> Hard Drive -> Games and Apps -> Far Cry 2. There, find the map your second account made (I called it AchievementMap), on the right side is should show the owner is your second account. Select the map and copy it onto your hard drive. This will duplicate the map and change the owner.

Open up the game and start a player match (Multiplayer -> Player match -> Create Match). Select Map Cycle and find the copied map near the bottom of the list (You can see the Author signature is set to your dummy account) Launch the match. Ready up and Force Start (Sometimes it takes up to 30sec for Force Start to become available). Once in a match, I made sure to walk for a bit and shoot a few shots. Hit the start button -> Call a vote -> End Match. Here you will be able to press Y to rate the map. Simply rate the same map 25 times and the achievement will pop. YES, the same map, it doesn't have to be 25 different maps.

A observacao mais importante é que você jogue e avalie o mapa de outro usuario, embora a descricão da conquosta diga pra fazer o download, o download não vai ser necessario e sim jogar e avaliar o mapa.

Como o download dos mapas não está sendo possivel realizar, o que eu fiz foi...entrei com outro perfil no xbox 360 e no editor de mapas, criei 25 mapas diferentes e salvei todos em um pendriver!

Sai do perfil que criei os mapas e entrei no meu perfil.

Em seguida copiei todos os arquivos de mapas que tinha salvo anteriormente no pendriver para o diretorio do jogo/local onde o jogo está instalado!

Com isso os mapas criados por outro perfil ficam disponiveis para serem JOGADOS E AVALIADOS NO PLAYERMATCH.

JOGUEI EM TODOS OS MAPAS DINSTINTOS CRIADOS PELO PERFIL ANTERIOR E AVALIEI...E A CONQUISTA VEIO!

This is a work around that helped me get it this achievement and some other things i noticed

Date of unlock = 19/02/2023

Most people now going for this have multiple xbox 360s, and ones

On my normal white xbox one with disc tray i did all other achievements then went for the map adventurer one, didnt unlock after 100 rates

So i moved house locations as i had to in personal live, so i took the 360 with me, when at this other house i connected to there wifi which was sky, i noticed on the 360 i couldnt connect to the Farcry 2 map servers, but ised someone else to download there maps 25+ no unlock (i did cache reset, unistall game and reinstall, and i did the guide above using another account to create, copy and the rince and repeat rate = no unlock)

So iam back home now - i sign in on my old black xbox on the big blocky ones, after downloading the top 25 maps monitoring the maps i did, writing them out by name what i have rated, on the 25th Boom unlock

In short - (theorys)

- maybe some code in the achievements gets mixed up and prevents unlocking when you do the other achievements first

- by switching xboxs, xbox ones, you can stand a better chance of unlocking if hasnt unlcoked on other consoles - so try different consoles

- you can download from other player PLAYER MATCHES MAPS

- when boosting RANKED field Manuel stay of from rating the map, (of your boosting you probably aware its the maps boosting, and boosting v2 oasis)

- Rate through player maps, and cycle them 15, then 10

- yes through the xbox 360 and xbox 1 i rated 100+ games, on the black xbox one, 25 rates and unlocked

- I dont know if this means anything but i did it with a download copy not a disc

This is all just some tips for you all to try and help you if it gets bugged
