Check the location where you can meet your buddies, e.g. Mike's Bar, for a small yellow exclamation mark icon. If there is one, head there. While there walk up to one of your buddies. One of them will say they need help with something. If they do, hit Y to speak with them. They should say something then you should have to hit Y again. Continue doing this until they give you a mission. Complete the mission and return to them to unlock this achievement.

This can be obtained after your first faction mission. You'll see an exclamation mark on Mike's Bar, symbolized with a wine glass on the map. Head over there, enter through the front and talk to one of your buddies. Keep hitting and you'll be given a side quest. Typically, it will be to steal a certain set of plans. You'll see a red objective marker on your map. Head over to the location and carefully progress to the objective to claim the item. Once you have it, simply head back to the location where the quest was given, most likely Mike's Bar and talk to your buddy. Here, you'll unlock the achievement.
