How to unlock the Bagged and Tagged achievement in Far Cry 3 - Definitive Guide

After you have cleared the first outpost, there will be a sign on the side near where you came to the outpost. The sign offers two quests: a WANTED dead quest and a Path of the Hunter quest. The Path of the Hunter quest requires you to kill 5 rabid dogs with the shotgun provided or your knife/machete. Find and kill the dogs in the specified area and the achievement is yours.

Remember to skin them so you can craft a wallet and syringe holder.

After you liberate an outpost, certain "jobs" will be posted on a bulletin board. These jobs will be given icons on your map if you apparently have trouble finding them.

To complete a Path of the Hunter quest, you will be sent to a specific area to hunt an animal. You will be given a weapon at each location which you are required to hunt that animal with. They are not timed quests. Some quests require you to kill more than 1 animal, so make sure you are prepared so walk the land quite a bit.

The trophy will unlock after you bag your last animal (or the only animal, depending on the quest).

After liberating an Outpost, these will become available to you via the news board in the same Outpost. The Path of the Hunter quests are shown to you via a Blue Dear icon. These are small side quests that task you with killing a certain animal with a specific weapon.

Accept the mission, and you'll then be directed to pick up the weapon at a set location and from there, you'll need to use it to kill the animal. Killing the animal and then skinning it will result in you completing the mission.

Path of the Hunter is a series of side quests. These quests become available after liberating outposts. They are shown with a symbol on your world map. Successfully complete one single of these quests to unlock the trophy. Your objective is to hunt and skin animals with certain weapons.
