Hi Guys

Here is my Solution for this Achievement.

In the Game are 20 Memory Cards to collect on both Island. You can buy at the Shop / Vendor for each Area a Map with the Locations for $500.

When you buy a Map, the Locations show on your Map with a a little Memory Card Symbol.

Memory Cards are always at the same Place in Far Cry 3. When you clean up a Outpost, you have a new fast Travel Station and in this Rooms are the Cards, all 20.

Far Cry 3 has 34 Outposts, in 20 Outposts you find a Memory Card after takeover.

The video guide provided below will show you the exact location of all 20 Memory Cards in Far Cry 3.

All Memory Cards shown in the video guide are collected in order. Memory Card 1 is collected first, Memory Card 2 is collected second, and so on. Memory Cards are only found in Outposts on the Northern and Southern Island. Nowhere else.

To find out which Memory Cards you need left to collect, just press 'START' at any time, and select your HANDBOOK. Then go to your Collectibles and access your Memory Cards.

If you only need a few Memory Cards left to collect, and you don't want to watch the entire video, then you can follow the Timeline below (there is also one located in the description on Youtube, for this video). Enjoy!


Additional Information: As you progress further on into the game, you will be able to buy (at any store) "Item" maps for $500 each, which will reveal the location of all the Memory Cards and Letters of the Lost in that certain region/area. Once you purchase an Item Map, the Memory Cards will appear as a little Memory Card icon/symbol on your map. The video guide isn't really necessary, but hey, it saves you time! The video guide is intended for people who cannot currently afford to buy the Item maps and who are looking to collect the Memory Cards faster.

This achievement is reasonably simple, I managed to get it whilst aiming for the outpost achievement. The memory cards can be found inside some outposts:

First Island:

Orphan Point

Welshore Wrecker's House

Amanaki Outpost

Northview Gas

Rust Yard

Cliffside Overlook

Old Mines

AM 12

Hubert Shore Power

Broken Neck Home

Camp Murder

Kell's Boat Repairs

Nat's Repairs


Second Island:

Lazy Shore Marina

Bridge Control

Spine Ridge Site

Longshore View

North Krige Crest

Maw Docks & Repairs

Satellite Communication Hub

Whilst liberating all the outposts, you can naturally find all of the memory cards.

Memory to spare

This achievement is straight forward and simple, when you clear out an outpost just search the inside of every outpost main building where the store is. If you see a laptop you can go up to and hold X then you will get a memory Card.

Not every outpost has a memory card, but 20 of them do. I didn't miss any just make sure to do a quick search once you clear an outpost and you are golden.
