Once you progress far enough into the game you must meet up with a character for a cut scene that will then unlock the nine Kyrat Fashion Week quests. Here you must hunt a rare animal with a particular type of gun (explosives, SMGs, assault rifles, etc.). Am I doing something wrong or the achievements just glithed on me?

I did the 1st quest (black water dragon) but after that no Kyrat Fashion Week event triggered for me anymore, and I almost finished the game (I am in North already).

Any suggestion how to trigger the next Kyrat Fashion Week event? (or how?)

Have you liberated all of the outposts? Most of them only spawn once the outpost is liberated (similar to the racing/hunting quests).
