Far Cry 5

This can be done with 1 boosting buddy in a private match.

You will not be able to play this mode until you liberate Dutch's Island at the beginning of the game. Once you do that you can grab your boosting partner and head into arcade mode. Go to Multiplayer Lobbies and set up a private match. You will have to enter a password and let your friend know what it is.

Whoever is hosting picks the map, so press to Filter and make sure the category is set to Featured. If you want this to go super fast you can pick the map Shovel Dodgers. This is a Team Deathmatch map, but can still be played 1 v 1. This is also a super quick way to knock out this achievement:



You spawn directly apart from your partner and just throw shovels at each other. Unfortunately you can not idle this achievement. You will have to win and complete 10 games. Having your partner quit out will result in a defeat. This map is one of the shortest ones at 5 minutes a match as well.

Sort of boring, but you and your friend can both be done this achievement in around 2 hours this way.

You have to win on 10 featured maps. Playing them is (sadly) not enough.

Here's how to find the featured maps: Go to ARCADE mode, then "Browse Multiplayer Maps" on the right side. You can "Filter" the list with . Do so and select "FEATURED" at the 2nd option. Press to apply the filter. Write down the maps or memorize them. Now play normal arcade mode and vote for those maps as next when one match is over.

Multiple wins on one map are totally fine.

You can boost the achievement with at least 6 players in private matches. (Confirmed by Adamantium NZ and LLboxed, Thanks for the info.)

More featured maps seem to be circulating and there are 18+ maps to choose from, some are player created, and some are Ubisoft created. It seems that featured maps are based purely off rating... So if a map has 3+ stars to its reputation, then it rotates into the Featured Map playlist. The 'Search' function has also been changed, as in, if you have the category set to "Featured" it will remain that way until you physically change it.

Playing it legit method...

It seems to me that a lot of people do not realize that when you are chosen to pick a map you must physically search for the featured maps. The initial maps that come up are ONLY player made maps. You'll never see a featured map in that list!

At the beginning of a match, 4 people are chosen to be "Map Pickers". You have roughly 30 seconds (if not less), to choose. The countdown timer progresses even as the screen loads. So when it's your turn to choose a map, quickly hit to filter, this will open the "Filter" menu. Go down one slot to "Category" and instead of "ALL", selected "FEATURED"; then hit to filter.
You should now have two pages of maps totaling 18+; they are in order according to current rating:

Shovel Dodgers (TDM) 4+ Stars
The rest of the maps rotate in and out of the Featured list based on their current rating. They are always changing as people vote for new and old maps. So please keep this in mind when searching. As long as the category you select is "Featured" it will show the right ones.

Now just choose a TDM map by pressing , then press again to finalize your choice; (or if you're a beast go with a Deathmatch map)! Then hopefully people vote for it. You can continually vote for the same map once the match is complete in the replay square farthest to the right. It's a very arduous process to say the least.

Boosting method...

You can easily boost this achievement with 6 players in a private match with a lot less stress.

Have 2 people host and invite the remaining players so you have two teams of three. Then have one host create a private lobby and have the other host search for it, and join the private lobby. Doing this allows you to keep the same teams, instead of them changing after each match.

You should now be able to pick maps. At the beginning of a match, 4 people are chosen to be "Map Pickers". You have roughly 30 seconds (if not less), to choose. Now just choose a TDM map by pressing , then press again to finalize your choice. It is recommended by me (and others) to use the Farm Cry (Ubisoft made) map. It is a small map with attack helicopters and you can easily spawn camp; plus the kill amount is only 30. Then just replay the map 20 times; 10 for each team.

The boosting method:

0) Have 2 hosts invite people into rosters so the teams stay the same. You need a minimum of 6 players so 3 on each team minimum

1) Have 1 of the hosts set up a private lobby with a password. I recommend using something simple like "124"
2) Have the other host search for it with that password.

3) Have 1 person quickly Filter the maps with and select "Featured" in the 2nd option from the top
4) Select the map: Farm Cry. That way you only need to reach 30 kills.
5) Do spawn killing. However there is spawnprotection and even though Takedowns can ignore spawnprotection they WONT count towards the score.

Now alternate wins by selecting the right most map as you can Replay the same map through the voting.


BONUS
If you're still going for the 100 kills. You need to make 600 kills anyway which is exactly the amount for 6 people getting the achievement. So as soon as you have your achievement stop killing. You COULD do it simultaneously (so both teams killing) but that will just take longer.

However with more than 6 people this is actually recommended.


ALTERNATIVE
If you're JUST going for the kills with MORE than 6 people then use the map Neon Knights (don't remember the name, just Neon something). People can just drop from their spawn (beware that they can Takedown if you stand beneath them. So shoot from the sides).

first at all the achievement still can be boosted with a friend in coop, BUT there is a big problem finding the right map "Shovel Dodgers". Over the years a lot of custom maps with the same name appeared but didn't count for the achievement.

Please check out the other solutions if you want to play different maps or with more players. I can recommend the solution from SnipedByAGir1 because i think this is still the fastest method but also Tenreth & Xenolith666 have some good informations for you.
I just want to clear some questions and show a fast way for boosting it step by step.

Important: My game is in german but i try to find out the correct

So let us start on the title screen and follow step by step to find the right map:

- start "Arcade" (4th)
- open Arcade (1st)
- play multiplayer (2nd; in the middle)
- browse multiplayer maps (3rd; on the right)
- Filter settings:

game mode = all multiplayer maps
category = featured
sort by = A - Z

- press
- press
- find the map "Shovel Dodgers"
(for me the map was on page 4 but maybe this will be different for you)

There are three ways to play the map 10 times. You can replay after your match; you can repeat the steps above or you mark the map as your "favorite". Instead of searching in "featured maps" you can start it from your "favorite".

FunFact:

I've tried to boost this with my buddy in private matches but it doesn't work (maybe Ubisoft patched up something).

So, we tried to search existing lobbies in "Browse multiplayer maps" but there wasn't enough players / matches to start something.

Our last try was to set up a "Public Lobby" (instead of the private one), on the "Shovel Dodgers" map (filters "Team Deathmatch", "Featured maps") and it's worked!

Hope it's helpful as the multiplayer now seems desert.

How to get the maps: 4 random people at the end of each game get to choose a new map to vote for. press for the filter. and change category to featured.

Tips:
Neon Gladiator wins almost everytime it can be voted for if you want to get a featured map for sure. There is a Spas-12 in the middle. Be careful around the enemy spawn, if you are to close to their drop points they can use a death from above takedown on you.

Inferno is the easiest to win. Charge a heavy melee attack to charge an enemy, it has a surprisingly long range, and you will stun them. Now use for a takedown and it will be an instant kill. If you have the Takedown Mastery perk you can chain takedown everyone nearby, making this a very easy win if you can get enough takedown chains.

Ancient Market has infinite ammo, which means infinite grenades. Spam the hell out of them, it's easier than shooting

On other maps i suggest any smg and hipfiring at head level. (open up weapon wheel and tap twice when using an MP5) or the Spas-12, aiming at head level. The 3 i listed i had the best luck on.

As of January 8th 2023, it still works boosted with a buddy in a private match using the shovel dodgers match.

This can be done with one partner in the private lobby.
