How to unlock the Fashion First achievement in Far Cry 5 - Definitive Guide

In order to earn this achievement you'll need over $1,000. It seems like the cheapest way to get this is to buy a $900 item and a $200 item (total $1,100). You can earn money by completing side missions and selling animal furs to the store. Happy shopping!

Several have unlocked. I actually took a break from the game momentarily and then reloaded it completed a mission and bought another 900$ pair of gloves and it unlocked it.

Awesome, glad it unlocked for you! It's always annoying when things don't pop when they're supposed to.

Playing from GamePass on XBox Series X, this is a very simple achievement via normal gameplay, no unlocking issues. Got this before leaving my first area plenty of money available to find and earn.

Raven, the only thing that comes to mind is that your achievement might be temporarily bugged. Could just take a couple days (or longer) to sync correctly. Have any others popped since you've spent your $1,000?

This achievement can be completed very early in the game. Most pieces of clothing are more expensive than $1000.

Easiest way to get $1000 early in the game:
-2-3 side missions will net you $1000 easily
Or
-Hunt and skin animals. Bears and wolves being the easiest early on. It's worth avoiding any wolverines unless you're feeling agile to run and gun the little bastards
Or
-You can sell maps and magazines that you pick up, usually $150 - $200 a piece. Once you pick them up you already have the locations marked on the map and they can be sold without losing the map items

You’ll first need to liberate Dutch’s Island before the "Character Customization" option becomes available to you through the menu or you have access to shops around the map. Once done, you’ll have the option to view and buy new clothing.

There is nothing in the shop for just $1,000, so the cheapest way is buy a hat/hand wear for $900 and then an upper body for $200.

Clothes can be bought at any shop. Just spend $1000 on clothes for the trophy.
