How to unlock the Before achievement in Far Cry New Dawn - Definitive Guide



Once you gain the ability to free roam Hope County, you can pick up the photographs from the second floor of Prosperity. This will start you on the 'A Thousand Words' side mission and will require you to find 9 locations you visited during Far Cry 5 and match up the before photos with the current state of them. Below is a video guide to all locations.

The bridge one is glitched for me and won't work even if it's legitimately 100% perfectly aligned. Any ideas? >:L

Be sure to stand on the mat in front of the chair and not behind it. i made that mistake.

Also, this achievement is glitched for me. ive done all 9 of them and have the mission completed in my journal but the achievement hasn't unlocked. anyone else had this?

Just get your expeditions and cartography to 3, buy all the maps (after the missable achievement) and just go to your journal, track the quest to collect them and press Y when in journal menu.

It goes to the location on the map, just fast travel to the closest point.

To unlock the Before trophy in Far Cry New Dawn, you will need to find collect all of the Dear Photographs in Hope County.

To start collecting the Dear Photographs, you will have to pick up the photograph from the second floor of Prosperity, which will unlock the A Thousand Words quest to collect the remaining nine photographs.

Please note, you can only collect all of the photographs after you meet Joseph Seed in Act 2.

I encountered a similar problem as "faxxx778" . This position helped so that the picture would match.

The photo of the railway bridge caused difficulty (I even thought it was a bug), in the end, after much torment, we take the photo, combine it with the bridge and walk slowly next to the camera (I walked to the left of it) until it matches. It just happened to me.

You can buy maps with the locations of all players and photos by upgrading Cartography to lvl 2
