How to unlock the Expert Wenja achievement in Far Cry Primal - Definitive Guide
Don't be alarmed if your XP bar disappears!
It's perfectly normal - it means you have all the XP you can get. To finish it off, you do need to complete all the Help Wenja and Tribal Clash quests that reward a Skill Point. You can see which ones these are by hovering over them on the minimap. You will stop gaining XP once you only have these remaining so do not worry - your game is not bugged. You do not need to complete all of these orange quests - only the ones that reward a skill point.
To farm XP, you'll need to capture all the outposts/forts and complete every main quest, including the ones that aren't required for achievements. Once you've done that, you can reset all the forts/outposts by pressing and going to Options then Gameplay.
You can increase the amount of XP you gain in two ways. First, you can go to the tribal altars. There are 12 and they show up on the minimap as blue totem collectibles. They give you a 2% multiplier for each one you find. Alternatively, every 10 villagers you gain in your village give you an additional 2% XP to your multiplier up to 300 villagers.
I needed to run through most of the outposts again without being detected (13/15). If you were stealthy the first time, this number would be less.
The game can glitch and leave you short a few skill points. If this occurs, you'll have to wait for a patch. Devs said they were working on it.

yup! that means you're good on XP and can't earn anymore. That's ok. Just do the quests I mention in the first paragraph.

I've found short video helping to get few missing skill points.
Video isn't mine, all credit goes to Luke Barnett for posting this:

If you are missing a few skill points once you have completed the game "Expert Wenja".
You may of missed he village quest that are orange that you receive at the start of the game.
You will notice that more side quests will unlock as you do these that will give you the last few skill points you need.
Please note that there is no "level glitch" which I have been hearing. This is a simple misunderstanding of the game which has a level cap. Once you reach the max level you will no longer be able to level up and get skills points this way.
Hope this helps.

The video doesn't work anymore but the tip about completing the village missions is what helped unlock the last tribal clash with a skill point reward. Thought I was going to be 1 short until I did a couple more of them. 👍

Okay so to get this achievement you need to get all the skill points, theres two ways of getting skill points.
First way is levelling up, there is a max level so to get that just keep farming outposts once you finish the game
The way to get the rest is through the Help wenja and tribal clash quests. not all of these are available straight away. There is a help wenja quest that appears after doing a certain amount of the village missions found at your village.
Once you have finished all the missions with a skill point as a reward and reached max level you will have enough skill points to have all the skills
Hope this helps those who are having trouble.
Edit: just a reminder that some mission for skill points are not there until you finish other certain mission such as the village secondary ones.

As the other achievement guides state, you need to unlock all the skills found under one of the tabs.
You need all the survival, gathering, beast master, hunting, fighting, crafting, udam, and izila skills
I lost track of how many skill points are actually needed, but farming the xp is the way I went. You do reach an xp limit though.
You can decide to reset all the forts and outposts, but this is not actually necessary. I unlocked this achievement with 79% of the game completed. Collecting things is perhaps one of the funnest ways to gain xp. If you gain your population and the spirit totems you will rocket. I only had 120/184 collectables and that seemed to get me enough xp to have enough skill points.
I had: 10/12 spirit totems, 10/22 cave paintings, 22/25 wenja bracelets, 20/25 izila masks and 58/100 daysha hands. Plus 235 population by the end of it.
Happy Hunting

This requires you to acquire all skills in the skill tree. In order to do this you will need to:
1. Unlock all of the basic village characters. Takkar (survival) and Sayla (gathering) are available from the start, and through the story missions you will unlock Tensay (beast master), Jayma (hunting), Karoosh (fighting) and Wogah (crafting).
2. Conquer the two forts. Each of these will add a new character to your village - Dah (Udam) and Roshani (Izila). You will then need to complete a mission for each of them and build them a hut before their skills are available to unlock.
3. Max out your experience (you will probably hit the inbuilt level cap before you have acquired all the skills) through the course of playing the game. Building up your village population helps with XP boosts as do finding spirit totems.
4. IMPORTANT: complete all the orange side missions that award you a skill point reward - this includes all "Rescue Captive", "Tribal Clash" and "Escort" missions I believe. You will need to complete all of these to have enough skill points to fill the tree (optional objectives not required). You do not need to complete all the other orange missions (e.g. beast hunts).
Some have reported needing to complete village missions in order to unlock all of the additional orange side missions.
tl;dr version: You need to max out your XP and hit the level cap, as well as complete all orange side missions carrying a skill point reward, then buy all skills.

Is there any possible way to screw this up? I need one more skill point, i've maxed out xp, done all the +1 skill point side quests I have and did about 6 of the village missions. Any help would be great. This is my last trophy I need for the platinum.
By ICosMossI on 03 Mar 2016 21:48
I have seen some reports of people falling 1 point short but typically that was just due to missing a +1 skill point side quest (some said using the map filter helped them find it).

1) I finished "ALL" the missions that give you 1 skill point.
2) Farmed XP by cleaning enemy bases.(Using reset option)
3) Tired of bases, finding collectibles.
So, after the XP bar disappears... thinking that I was bugged coz i need it 1 point more to reedem the last skill...
I completed a couple of village misions, and then looking at the map, a new mision with a skill point appeared.
That's all folks!
(Sorry for the bad english)

The most important! Be sure to complete additional tasks in your village to unlock the rescue mission, where you will receive 1 skill point, without it you will not receive the trophy. I suffered for a long time and could not understand what was the matter.
Regarding getting everything else. Try to play in stealth mode, you will get more points. Collect items even after receiving the trophy for collecting 80 pieces, they give a lot of points. Complete all additional missions for which you get 1 skill point, without these missions you will not receive the trophy.

As soon as you see that you need to accumulate 5000 experience for one skill, start completing additional tasks with a reward of one skill. All the same, while you knock them out, you’ll also gain a lot of experience for killing enemies and other little things, saving yourself an extra hour or two. For example, for me, the maximum experience was already achieved when there were only three skills left to complete.

I strongly recommend postponing the add-on. tasks for which they give 1 skill point at the very end. The fact is that with receiving a certain number of skill points, the experience required for 1 skill point will increase from 1000 to 5000. That is why it makes sense to get 1 point when 4000-5000 experience is needed.

UNDER NO EVENT do the side effects that give +1 to skills first! Be sure to leave them for later, when an improvement point will require 4000-5000 XP! It is very important! If you do them first, then most likely there won’t be enough points to level up all your skills, even if you complete all the side effects and beat the game!

At the end of the game (after completing the last mission of the company), you can reset all captured outposts in the pause menu in the settings, and they need to be captured again, in a silent capture they give 1500xp + 50% of saved residents + 1000-1500 for silently killing heavy and ordinary enemies
By Diego19496 on 08 Jan 2017 00:30
AND THIS IS A COMPLETELY FALSE STATEMENT . For reaching each new level you are given a skill point, and these points are also given when completing certain tasks. Their number is ultimately a constant, i.e. you will have just enough of them to eventually get all the skills - there will be no free or spare ones left.
What the author talked about will only affect the speed of achieving maximum experience. For example, I reached this limit when I had not yet invested about 16 points in skills, I had to run around and complete all the tasks in a hurry.
