The easiest way, at least that I've found, to get this earlier than later would be to light your arrows on fire and shoot the bodies of the enemies you attack.
If you light your arrows on fire and then attack, the burn damage kills them and that counts towards the achievement.

So if like me, you find yourself much later in the game, 1-shotting all the enemies you come across....this may help.
So I was testing out how I can do this, and I found that with the 1st Bow I was able to put 2 shots into enemies, and watch them 'die by fire' instead of the arrow damage. I really hope this helps anybody that had the difficulties that I did.

I can confirm if you light your clubs or spears on fire and kill someone that goes towards the achievement also.
The above solution is great but I found myself knocking out the achievements later in the game where people who were shot by a flaming arrow would not die and the flames would go out.

I just figured this method out. I tried the bombs forever. Light your club on fire and hold down RT until the enemy is on fire.
