If you're going for the other achievements, this one will come almost in due time. I got 15 other achievements (minus breed 20 cows) within the 10 hours, and that was without crucially trying to beat it.
If you're just wanting this specific achievement, it does require real time, signed into the game on one save. Note that achievements struggle when unlocking playing multiplayer, so singleplayer is best.
Just load the game and sit around for 10 hours if you don't want to attempt playing the game.
Mods also keep achievements enabled.

As you work on unlocking achievements in game you'll progress towards this one. It has to be on a single game save to unlock. The stats section in the pause menu keeps track of in game time.
