How to unlock the COWBOY achievement in Farming Simulator 18 - Definitive Guide
The process to earn this trophy is similar to SWEET DREAMS and OINK OINK!
In your statistics, you will see a section relating to cows and the reproduction rate. The more cows you have, the quicker the reproduction rate will be. You will have to continually feed your cows, with grass being enough but you do not need to worry about anything else.
Purchasing 20 cows to begin with will be enough to breed another 20 however the reproduction rate is higher than it is with sheep and pigs. Purchase more cows to get this done quicker if you wish. You will need the Betimax RDS 7500 to purchase and transport cows from the animal shop, which can be located West of the inn, to your Cowshed, located just below the grass field you own from the start. The only other equipment you will need is a mower to cut grass, a Windrower (although this isn't majorly important, it is recommended), at least one tractor and a loading wagon to collect the grass and unload at the Cowshed. Owning 2 grass fields will help with the animal feeding demand however if the demand gets too much, selling 5+ cows will help a little. Try to resist purchasing a third grass field.
You will earn this trophy as soon as you have bred your twentieth cow.
As well as breeding 20 cows, you will also need your cows to produce at least 30,000 litres of milk, which they will do naturally while reproducing, and sell it to earn the MILKMAN trophy. You can track how much milk your cows have produced in the cow section in the statistics and how much you have sold in the sold amount section. A milk tank will be provided when you begin a new game and this must be used to collect and sell the milk. This will likely come before you have bred 20 cows but if it has not, don't sell all of your cows until they have produced at least 30,000 litres.
You can, if you wish, keep 2 cows so that they continue to produce Milk for you to sell which will help further with the POTS OF GOLD trophy. You will have to continue to cut and collect Grass to feed your cows however.
