The only way to cut down trees in the game is to purchase the ScorpionKing from the forestry section of the shop for $317,000, drive up to a tree and press the button to cut it. The ScorpionKing is quite a slow vehicle but thankfully, the majority of trees on the map are close to each other in the northern region. Another positive is that the map contains more than 200 trees so there is no need to purchase the ST 65 T to remove tree stumps so that more trees will grow. You will have to cut down the trees yourself unfortunately as you are unable to hire workers to do this, however I found it didn’t take as long as I expected and only took a couple of hours if I remember correctly. Once you have cut your 200th tree, the trophy will pop and you can immediately sell the ScorpionKing as you will not need it anymore. This can be tracked in your statistics.

Purchasing the Buffalo isn't required for this trophy but may come in useful for the POTS OF GOLD trophy, because it can carry 12 logs at one time to sell. The downside is that the Buffalo is not much faster than the ScorpionKing but if you are interested in selling the logs, then this will help.

I found leaving this until late in the play through and after purchasing better equipment and more fields, filling the 3 silos and earning the animal related trophies as, if you choose to not sell them, you will have lots of logs lying around and in the way!
