How to unlock the Legendary Aide achievement in Farming Simulator 19 - Definitive Guide

So no longer do we simply have the missions where you can mow a lawn from a bounty board anymore. Now it's in the pause menu with an icon that looks like a pile of papers. So that's good.

But the downside is that the missions now are to work on farms that aren't your own. Mowing jobs require you to turn the grass, then windrow them to lines, bail them up and sell them off. There are easy jobs though and they are the Fertilizing jobs.

you can do this off the start by leasing the vehicles. In the shop under Crop Protection, the Rubicon 9000 is the one you want to get. It has a max speed of 31 while driving, wingspan of 160 feet and 15 mph when spraying the grounds. When you get to the jobsite you can either do the job yourself with the 9000 gallons (liters?) of fertilizer or tapping B when you start to have a worker to do the job.

If you've got some downtime and no fertilize jobs available then Transport is a quick option as well. The Medium Tractor JCB Fastrac 4220 with Trelleborg Wide Wheels can get you a top speed of 40 MPH, so it's the 2nd fastest tractor in the game. Add Front loader attachment, Stoll FZ 60 Front Loader and a Stoll Pallet Fork to be able to move stuff around. The Lizard 2014 Pickup is a good backup to haul if you have 2 items to move, just make sure to flip the goods upside down in the back of the truck because the tie down straps can't be used with these pallets.

Do 100 jobs and the achievement is yours.

Fertilizing jobs with the Rubicon 9000 is definitely the way forward. Previously I was doing any missions and only did 20 in 8-10 hours or so. Started doing fertilizing jobs last night and got like 50 done in 2-3 hours. Thanks for the tip!

Harvesting field 8 is a brutal grind. Just say no to that one.

Geez, I feel sorry for you doing 8. I did field 5 once with potatoes in the America map and never again. took near 2 in game days with 2 harvesters running.

And whatever you do, remember this has to be done in one save game... I had 90 missios completed on one map/save, then played on another map, did 15 or so missions then thought why did this not pop ... did 10 missions on the first map/save and the achievement popped.

I had a great run of easy fertilising missions, then nothing came up for 3 days on 120x speed, so I changed to another save. Is there a way to make new contracts appear?

I saved this one for last, and what I've done is I've bought all the big fields and left only 14,15,16,17, 20, 21, and 23 owned by the AI so that those are the only one's jobs are available for. Fertilizing IS the fastest. You can fertilize field 23 in like 20 seconds with the fertilizing vehicle that has a 48-foot wingspan. however, If you've got the money for the big tractors and seeders and so on Cultivating, and seeding can also be done in just a few minutes on the small fields.

My strategy for this grind... Got money to burn thanks to the Gevenmnt subsidy mod. So I bought all the small plots at the bottom of the map 14-26 so basically anything below the railroad.

I bought the big ones 4, 5 and 8 to farm myself. This way you leave the "reasonably sised" plots to be owned by AI and offering jobs on it. I did not like the small fields far away, being owned by AI because if all my tractors are in middle of the map near the big plots and there is a job at 14+ plot, it means a long 2-way drive to small plot with twisted roads. Naah, not doing that.

Now everything is relatively close by over relatively flat land. I have 3 big fields, so I try to have 1-3 helpers active per field, (you can only have 6 max unfortunaeley) and I have 1 helper doing the missons. All I have to do is drive equipment to a field and hire a minion. Rinse and repeat. At the same time I keep managing my 5 minions and doing odd jobs myself.

I only pick seeding, cultivating and fertilising jobs - those ones the hired minions can do in one go. Other mission types I just either Igone, or I accept them just to cancel and get rid of them "Accept > Cancel > - Yes I am sure > collect 0 reward". I hope the cleaned list means new random missions spawn faster.

My way is not the fastest, but easy for me as it happens in the background while I grind other farming tasks.

Download the map "Homestead Economy" in Modhub. the map itself is very small, including the fields. You can use the 10mil exploit multi-player to single player. Don't buy any fields. Beware, this map has some power lines and trees surrounding some of its fields. Best case would use smaller machinery and avoid power line fields. It gets pretty claustrophobic sometimes, but the fields are a breeze. This has got to be the best map to tackle all 100 missions. Cheers toast

Note: refueling sprayers manually is glitched. Try your best using hire a worker getting hard to reach areas.

Pressing , you can navigate through various menus. One of them will give you the option to take Contracts. You can accept contracts by pressing on the contract you want to do. Contracts will ask you many things, from Cultivate a field to create pallets and move objects. However, just forget all of them! For your mental health, just do the Fertilizing Contracts, as they’re the fastest. If you don’t have any, just wait for them to respawn. Try to accept contracts on nearby fields, so you won’t drive too much. The best fields are the 14-17 ones, as they’re all near. Wait for Fertilizing Contracts there and let the workers do it for you. To make workers, go with the machine in the field you want to use the worker and when you’re inside it, press . The workers will do the work for you. Keep always an eye on them, expand the map with + and check that all the workers are working. You can see it by looking at the blue dots. When the blue dots disappear, that means the work is done. You can switch between machines by pressing left or right on the pad, so you don’t have to move between them all the time. Once the workers finish the job, move the machine away from the field, as they can get stuck if they find obstacles.

You can see a percentage of completion, so you can always check. Once the job is done, press again and repeat. Do this 100 times.

Beware: during fertilizing contracts, the workers will stop even if the contract is not completed. In this case, just run around the field trying to find the spots not fertilized by hiring workers. Do this until you find the spots and the percentage reaches 100%.

Note: the activities done during Contracts do not count towards the 100 hectares needed.

Note: I found that the fertilizing will stop less times if you make the worker work on vertical instead of horizontal.

Missions are found in the pause menu, they are also called "contracts".

Some tips:

1.) Avoid potatoes, beets, and sugar cane - harvesting and planting these crops is very, very time consuming.

2.) Fertilizing missions are very, very fast - particularly with the Hardi Rubicon 9000

3.) Plowing missions are generally pretty slow (narrow equipment)

4.) Cultivating, Sowing, and Harvesting missions can be somewhere in the middle

5.) Transport missions are very quick, if you are good with fork tines to move pallets, or you hunt down an autoload transport.

6.) The mod named "better contacts" or "more missions", both of which are available on the in game modhub for PC allow you to run more than 1 contact at the same time - it can really help maximize efficiency.

Ravenport, placed several tractors with Mega 2200 sprayers near fields 19, 21, 23, 25. Near 14-17 it is also possible, but there are ravines all around and the bots are often glitchy. He constantly took on tasks to fertilize fields and launched bots. (enable automatic replenishment of fertilizers by the bot). Since you can only take on one task at a time, field size is key. I quickly completed it and took the next one.

I bought all the fields, except those that were small and had orders for fertilizer, cultivation or sowing... and it all went away pretty quickly... I completed the last 20 orders in an hour and a half

As always, I was too clever and only by the 50th field I understood how to do everything.
1. Activate the glitch
2. Set "real time"
3. We buy “Store” - “Pesticides” - green car
4. We adjust this machine to each group of fields on the map (if desired, you can fill it with fertilizers from the store).
5. We go into the tasks and take tasks for fertilizer, only those that are small fields. Save time.
6. We fertilize ourselves or through a bot - we get a reward.

Nuances:
- switch between cars via the crossbar "left-right"
- sowing, harvesting, fertilizing, etc., of other people’s fields does not count towards the statistics of other trophies (but there is no other way)
- bots are sometimes stupid
- if we run out of tasks for fertilizing small fields, activate time x120, go to the tasks and wait for them to appear. Afterwards, we set the real time again.

I completed these 100 tasks in 8 hours. Only fertilizers, and sometimes “weeding”. Leave fields 19 24 25 26 unpurchased, and maybe 18 22 23. Buy the rest. We accelerate the time by 120 and wait for “fertilizer”. Place a tractor with fertilizers and a tractor with weeding on each of the two groups of fields.
There is no need to change attachments, drive tractors to a minimum. In the settings, don’t forget to put “hires buy...”.

Fertilizers will fall out in groups, after "harvesting" and "ploughing" usually. We catch them, execute them, and then rest.

There is no need to take cumbersome equipment, the hirelings will get stuck.
Don’t forget to farm money right away through Government Subsidized signs.
