The trees must be on your ground. I owned the fields 44, 45 and 46 on Elmcreek and walked around and found enough trees I owned.

Easier way of doing this before you cut the tree down cut the branches you can reach first stand on a telehandler or any other similar sized vehicle then cut the tree down I did it this way and only cut 5 trees down and achievement popped hope this helps

Just place pine trees, and cut them down until achieving the credit.

Can confirm J4yt67 method worked for me, didn't even cut the whole tree just its branches and pop.

Make sure that it's on your land, and not just random trees.

im playing on steam/pc and ive cut down many trees on my land and i still cant get this achievement? can someone help?

It is not necessary to cut down 25 trees, you can cut down the same tree. We start sawing from the top and cut the stump as we go down.
