Just a note more than a solution - time spent on a single save can be seen either in the information displayed when selecting a saved game
or on the second page of the statistics on the PDA the achievement will pop a few seconds after the total time as reached 10:00
but this doesn't really need a solution, just figured it might be useful to point that out.

You may want to just highlight that the 10hrs is game time and not real time. Any time spent in the pause menu does NOT count towards this.
The purchase menu is ok as the game is still running.
