FAST & FURIOUS CROSSROADS

I recommend going for busts first as you'll get take-downs along the way. The best cars to use are going to be the 918 Spyder with the Stinger (strip spikes), followed by the F-150 with the Mag Beam. Typically the 918 outperforms the F-150 because spikes are set and forget but some maps are too open for them to be effective, like Quarry Takedown.

APB maps are great for getting busts as they are narrow tracks (great for spikes) and the king of the hill section at the end is spike city, just keep laying traps down in the circle and you actually want to die here. Dying resets your spikes so it will allow you to put more down because the respawn timer is way shorter than spike regeneration. Just make sure you focus on cars that aren't already busted!

It's worth noting that currently it seems like the Busts count in your stats page is bugged. I popped the achievement for 50 busts while my stats still displayed 32 and it's been stuck there for a while.

If you're not sure, the way 'busting' works is the cop team needs to deal enough damage to that enemy. This is completely unrelated to their normal health bar so take downs are irrelevant. The stars above the enemy and on the HUD in the top left roughly show total cop damage to that vehicle. The more filled the stars are, the closer they are to getting busted.

EDIT: I've found the F-150 to actually be crazy good especially once you level up the Mag Beam some more. It's harder and slower to drive but you can do tons more damage. May require some more skill, but it's definitely worth mastering
