Best, quickest, and easiest way to get this achievement is to set the difficulty to Beginer (which IMO is still not easy) on single player Arcade mode.
Then have the 2nd player controller turned on. As soon as the 1st Round begins you will have 5 continues available for player-2. Press start on the controller to challenge you five times and win with a Perfect everytime. You will accumilate alot of points from this alone which will allow you to get 400k in no time against a few computer opponents.
Even if you continue from a lose, you still get this points.

If you are using a 2nd controller this will be very easy. After each fight you can 60,000 points, So have the 2nd controller stand still and you get will the 20,000 bonus points for perfect. After each fight it is over it will ask you to continue. Press start on the 2nd controller and pick someone whose face isn't grayed out. When I was playing this by myself I only had 180,000 by the time I was on my 7th fight. The easiest way is to just use the 2nd controller way.
